Check the game in your regional PlayStation Plus hub

Search for the game on Sony’s official PlayStation Plus games page, or open PlayStation Plus on your console. Sony says the catalog varies by country or region and that the console hub shows the complete local list, so do not assume a date shown for another country applies to your account.

Open the Game Catalog. Sony’s documented navigation is PS5: Games home > PlayStation Plus > Benefits > Game Catalog. On PS4: function screen > PlayStation Plus > Game Catalog. Menu labels can change with system software; if yours differ, look for the Game Catalog section within PlayStation Plus.

Open the individual game listing and check for its end date or removal information. Sony says dates are publicised ahead of time, but its guidance does not specify one guaranteed location in every listing or a standard number of days’ notice.

Cross-check Sony’s dated announcements
Check the official PlayStation Blog archive for Game Catalog lineup posts, making sure the post is for the relevant month and region. A monthly Game Catalog announcement can help confirm a change, but it is not the same as a Monthly Games post: Monthly Games have a claim window, while catalog games can leave the service. An older lineup post is not a substitute for the current regional listing.
Catalog availability can change, so recheck near the listed date. If neither the current listing nor an applicable Sony announcement gives a date, say it has not been confirmed rather than inferring one.

What happens when a catalog game leaves?
Sony distinguishes Monthly Games from Game Catalog and Classics Catalog titles. Monthly Games can be played while the membership is active; catalog titles may have end dates and leave the service. Adding a catalog game to your library does not guarantee access after it is removed. A separate purchase may be an option for a particular game, but check its platform, edition, region, and current store availability. Sony says purchased DLC and add-ons can be used again if you resubscribe or purchase the underlying title after catalog access ends.
