Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsDon’t judge a PlayStation game by its discount percentage alone. Check that the offer is for the platform and edition you want, compare its price with past prices in your Store region, decide whether the game suits you, and review the refund terms before you download or stream it.
1. Confirm the game, platform, and edition
Before comparing prices, make sure you are looking at the exact product you intend to buy. PlayStation Store listings can differ by platform and edition, and an upgrade or add-on is not guaranteed just because a listing mentions another version.

- Check whether the listing is for PS4, PS5, or a bundle that includes both.
- Compare the edition name and the included content, such as expansions or bonus items.
- Read the individual listing’s upgrade terms. PlayStation’s PS4-to-PS5 upgrade guidance explains that upgrade options depend on the game; upgrading from a disc also requires a PS5 with a disc drive.
Do not assume a PS4 purchase automatically includes a PS5 copy. Check the specific offer and the game’s PlayStation Games Support information before checkout.
2. Check whether the sale price is genuinely low
A discount percentage tells you how far the current price is below the Store’s displayed reference price, not whether the game is at an unusually good price. Compare the same platform and edition in the Store region tied to your account. Offers and prices vary by region and change over time.

- Look up that same product on PSPrices to review its regional price history, recorded lows, and any available price alerts.
- Compare the sale price with the historical pattern. Treat a recorded low as context—not as proof that the game is right for you.
PlayStation’s US deals page lists current US offers, but live deals can change. For a different account region, use that region’s Store listing and the matching regional history; a US price is not a reliable comparison for another market.
3. Decide whether you are likely to enjoy the game
Price history can tell you about the offer, not the experience. Check whether the game’s core loop, content, and technical performance fit what you want to play. Look for review details that matter to your decision, such as combat or exploration style, accessibility options, performance on your console, and recurring technical problems.

PlayStation says Store reviews are from users who acquired the digital game through their PlayStation account. Reviews are not available for every product or in every region, so a star average may not tell the whole story. Read specific comments and cross-check independent reviews rather than treating the Store score as a verdict. See PlayStation’s Store reviews policy.
4. Compare buying with other ways to play
If you can access the game through a subscription catalog, compare the cost and access terms with buying it. Confirm that the named game is currently included and check how long it will remain available; catalog availability can change. No particular catalog title can be assumed here.

Under PlayStation’s US cancellation policy, a game can generally be canceled within 14 days of purchase only if downloading or streaming has not started. Once either has begun, the game is generally ineligible for a change-of-mind refund unless it is faulty. The policy notes that local law may provide additional rights. Check the cancellation policy for your own region; other regions have their own terms. The US policy is at PlayStation Store cancellation and refund requests.

- With the return of classic cars, iconic tracks, and fan-favourite modes like GT Simulation and Sport Mode - Gran Turismo 7 is the complete Real Driving Simulator, 25 years in the making.
- Find your line. Whether you're a racer, collector, tuner, designer, photographer or arcade fan - immerse yourself in the facets of automotive culture that matter most to you.
- Connect and compete. Join an international community of drivers to share race strategies, tuning tips, livery designs and photos, before taking to the track to go head-to-head.
A later sale does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement for a US purchase. PlayStation’s US Terms of Service state: “If the price for any content or services you purchased temporarily or permanently drops, you will not be entitled to a refund (unless your purchase independently qualifies for a refund under the PlayStation Store Cancellation Policy).”
Because starting a download or stream can close the ordinary change-of-mind route, make your decision before you begin either one.
Quick Recap
A quick decision checklist
- Is this the exact platform and edition you want?
- Are the included content and any upgrade rights clear in this specific listing?

- Do reviews support the kind of gameplay and technical experience you want?
- Would subscription access or a physical copy suit you better, if available?
- Are you comfortable with the regional refund terms before downloading or streaming?
