Use Steam’s official Great on Frame list to check whether a game is marked for Steam Frame standalone play. Valve links to this list from its Steam Frame page. A game being streamable to the headset is not the same as being verified for standalone play.

Look for the game on the live list and check the status Steam shows for that entry. The list is the official place to verify a specific game; check it close to when you need the information because a game’s current listing can change.
The available page text does not establish specific search controls or rating categories, so use the live page rather than relying on assumed filters or labels. If you cannot find an entry, do not infer its status from another rating.

What Steam Frame verification covers
The program is intended to identify games that work on Steam Frame in standalone mode—that is, on the headset without streaming the game from a PC. Valve also says the entire Steam library can be streamed to Steam Frame. That broader streaming capability does not mean every game is verified for standalone play.
Do not substitute a Steam Deck rating
Valve describes its hardware-rating effort as an expansion of Deck Verified ratings to Steam Frame and Steam Machine, but the official material available here does not specify detailed Steam Frame game-rating criteria. A Steam Deck rating alone therefore does not establish a game’s Steam Frame standalone status. Check the Great on Frame list for the game itself.

Valve’s official page describes the list as a way to identify games in a Steam library that work standalone on Steam Frame. Treat the listing as a compatibility status, not a promise that every game will perform flawlessly in every situation.
