Start by checking which seller took your order: Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop, Pokémon Center, or another retailer. Each has its own lookup and status system. Pokémon Legends: Z-A was announced for release on October 16, 2025, so this guide is for checking an existing preorder or resolving an order—not placing a preorder before launch. (The Pokémon Company)

Check the order with the seller that accepted it

Find the confirmation email, payment record, or retailer account you used at checkout. A Nintendo Store physical order, a Nintendo eShop digital preorder, and a Pokémon Center order are separate transactions; checking one service will not confirm an order placed through another.

Seller and order type Where to check Information or status to look for
Nintendo Store, signed-in order Nintendo Store account’s Order history Open the order details and review its status or tracking information.
Nintendo Store, guest order Nintendo’s order lookup page Order number, billing last name, and billing ZIP or postal code.
Pokémon Center guest order Regional Order Status page Order ID and the postal code entered at checkout.
Nintendo eShop digital preorder The Nintendo Account used for the eShop purchase Check the preorder and payment status; eShop payment and preload rules differ from physical shipping status.
Another retailer That retailer’s account or the order-status link in its confirmation email Follow that seller’s own status labels and support process.

Find a Nintendo Store order

If you ordered while signed in

  1. Sign in with the Nintendo Account used at checkout.
  2. Open the Nintendo Store, select your account name, then choose Order history.
  3. Find the Pokémon Legends: Z-A order and select View details to see order details and any tracking information. (Nintendo order lookup instructions)

If you checked out as a guest

  1. Open Nintendo’s order lookup page.
  2. Enter the order number, billing last name, and billing ZIP or postal code.
  3. Use the billing information from checkout, not the shipping name or destination. Nintendo says the order number is in the confirmation email; if you cannot find that email, contact Nintendo Support. (Nintendo order lookup instructions)

Find a Pokémon Center guest order

Open the Order Status page for the Pokémon Center region where you placed the order, then enter the order ID and postal code used at checkout. The Pokémon Center FAQ links order-status routes for the US, Canada, and UK. (Pokémon Center Order Status FAQs)

Pokémon Center says it sends a shipping-confirmation email with tracking when an order is ready to ship. If you do not see that email, check the order page first. If the order’s status is unclear, contact Pokémon Center support rather than treating the absence of a shipping email as proof the order was canceled.

#1 Best Overall
Pokémon Legends: Z-A Standard - Nintendo Switch [Digital Code]
  • Your journey will take you to all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones—where Pokémon roam free.
  • As you catch, train, and battle Pokémon, there will be plenty of people to meet too—like AZ, the enigmatic owner of Hotel Z.

Read the status before deciding there is a problem

The following labels are Nintendo Store definitions. Another retailer may use similar words differently. (Nintendo order status definitions)

Nintendo Store status What it means
Order Processing Nintendo has placed and received the order.
Submitted The order has been approved and is being prepared for shipping.
Shipped The order has shipped; open the details for tracking information.
Back-Ordered The item is unavailable and will ship when back in stock. Nintendo says most items return to processing within 3–4 days and advises allowing a week for back-ordered processing.
Canceled You or Nintendo canceled the order.
Partial Ship Part of the order shipped; remaining items are usually back-ordered or preordered.

A status other than Shipped does not by itself show that the order is lost. Use the seller’s explanation for the displayed status and contact it if the status conflicts with a charge or email.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC - Nintendo Switch [Digital Code]
  • Venture into Hyperspace Lumiose in this additional story content that can be accessed after completing the main game
  • Work with the mysterious baker, Ansha, to make donuts that awaken the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa’s power and grant you and your Pokémon a variety of useful effects
  • Join Team MZ and the Mega Evolution Successor, Korrina, to investigate Hyperspace Lumiose, the otherworldly home to rare and hyper-strong Pokémon
  • Discover new Mega Evolutions such as Mega Raichu X, Mega Raichu Y, Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur
  • Claim Holo-X and Holo-Y in-game apparel items, which you can wear as soon as you are able to customize your character’s look and outfit in the main game

For Nintendo eShop, check payment separately from shipping

A digital preorder from Nintendo eShop does not have the same shipment workflow as a physical Nintendo Store order. Nintendo says eShop preorder payment is processed no sooner than seven days before release. The game is preloaded, and play can begin after downloading a small update released at launch. Nintendo also says an eShop preorder is canceled if payment fails. These are Nintendo eShop rules; do not assume another retailer follows them. (Nintendo eShop preorder information)

If the order is missing, canceled, or does not match your records

  • Check the account or email address that you actually used at checkout.
  • Search your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email. For Nintendo Store guest orders, it contains the order number.
  • For Nintendo Store guest lookup, recheck the order number and billing last name and postal code. Nintendo notes that incorrect details can cause an incorrect-data error.
  • If Pokémon Center shows a cancellation, review the payment details and contact Pokémon Center support. Its FAQ says an invalid credit card at shipment can result in cancellation; it also says cancellation is available only before processing. (Pokémon Center Order Status FAQs)
  • Contact the retailer if lookup still fails, the order is marked canceled, tracking is missing despite a shipped status, or the order status disagrees with your payment or confirmation email. The seller that took the order is the one that can verify the transaction.

When you ordered from a different retailer

Sign in to that retailer’s account or use the order-status link in its confirmation email. Lookup fields, status meanings, payment handling, and support options depend on the seller; there is no universal order-status procedure for every store. Use the help or contact link on the retailer’s own site.
