Sign in to the EA Account you want to check, then open Connected Accounts in EA Account settings. If Steam appears there, that Steam account is linked to the EA Account currently signed in. EA Help identifies this tab as the place to check linked platform accounts: Connected Accounts instructions.
Check the Steam link in EA Account settings
- Sign in to the EA Account you want to verify.
- Open EA Account settings and select Connected Accounts.
- Look for Steam in the list of linked platform accounts.
The Steam entry, if shown, belongs to the EA Account you are currently viewing. Public account-linking guidance cannot identify the EA Account connected to your personal Steam profile; you need access to the EA Account settings to check it.
If you do not recognize or cannot access the EA Account
Do not use unlinking as a way to find out which EA Account is connected. First try EA’s account recovery guidance, or contact EA Help if you need assistance with the account.
EA says Steam accounts may be linked the first time you launch an EA game on Steam. Its instructions also describe linking Steam through the Connected Accounts page. If you have more than one EA Account, check the account you used when you first played the game rather than assuming a current Steam login will reveal the EA Account.

Why you should check before unlinking Steam
Unlinking does not transfer Steam entitlements to another EA Account. EA’s unlinking guidance says Steam entitlements—including in-game rewards, points, and items—remain on the EA Account to which Steam was first linked. Games and personas cannot be moved by the user. EA also warns that unlinking can affect game progress, DLC and expansions, memberships and subscriptions, previous drops and rewards, and in-game purchases.
Relinking to a different EA Account may also be unavailable if the platform account was linked less than one year ago. EA says eligibility depends on the account; follow the prompts on the account page and its unlink troubleshooting guidance before taking action.

If you are considering unlinking, read the warning shown for your account and make sure you can access the EA Account that currently holds the connection. Recovering access is the safer diagnostic step when the linked account is unfamiliar.
