In YouTube Studio, open Analytics > Revenue > How you make money > Memberships. Select the dates you want to examine and, where available, filter by video format to focus on livestream-related membership revenue. Treat the figure as an estimate, not a guaranteed payout. YouTube’s official guidance does not establish a setting that forces this report to display in rupees, so check the currency shown in your own Studio account rather than assuming an INR conversion option exists.
Find the membership revenue report
- Open YouTube Studio for the channel whose revenue you want to check.
- Go to Analytics > Revenue.
- In How you make money, select Memberships.
- Set the date range you want to review. YouTube says the report supports a custom period and a video-format filter; use the relevant format filter if it is available for your channel and report.
This report is the place to examine estimated revenue attributed to memberships. A 24/7 stream may run across multiple dates, so make the date range match the period you intend to assess. The official guidance supports membership-source and format filtering, but does not establish a guaranteed control that isolates revenue for every individual continuous livestream. Do not interpret the report as a fixed “revenue per day” rate.
Use the right report for the question
| Question | Where to look | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| How much estimated revenue came from memberships? | Analytics > Revenue > How you make money > Memberships | Estimated membership revenue for the selected dates and available filters. |
| How many membership transactions occurred? | Analytics > Revenue > Transactions Revenue | Transactions such as new sign-ups and recurring payments; this is not the active member count. |
| How did membership numbers change? | Analytics > Audience > Total Member | Total and active members, and movement such as members gained, canceled, or lost over a selected period. |
Use transaction activity and member movement to understand changes in membership revenue. Views, watch time, and concurrent viewers do not by themselves show how much members paid.
Check whether the amount is in rupees
Look at the currency displayed in your own Studio report and at the currency associated with your AdSense for YouTube payment details. YouTube’s official information reviewed for this article does not verify an Analytics setting that switches the membership report to INR. Do not rely on an assumed menu or conversion toggle.

If your account’s reporting and payment currencies differ, an amount may change when converted, and YouTube notes that the exchange rate and the time it is applied can affect differences. Avoid converting an estimate with an undated or assumed rate and presenting it as your eventual rupee payout.

Separate memberships from other livestream revenue
YouTube Analytics distinguishes estimated revenue from estimated ad revenue. Estimated revenue can include memberships, YouTube Premium, and Supers; estimated ad revenue refers only to advertising. RPM is not a membership-only figure: it is a creator-focused measure after YouTube’s share and includes multiple revenue sources. For a membership-only answer, use the Memberships report rather than total estimated revenue, ad revenue, or RPM.
Livestreams may also earn from ads, Super Chat, and Super Stickers, but these are separate sources. YouTube cautions that ad slots are not guaranteed to serve. Do not add those amounts to membership revenue unless you are deliberately calculating a broader total and keeping each source identifiable.

Understand estimates, revenue share, and final payment
YouTube’s membership guidance states: “Creators get 70% of membership revenue after applicable taxes and fees are deducted.” YouTube says it currently covers transaction costs such as credit-card fees, while refunds may be deducted from a creator’s share. An MCN may take an additional share; check the terms of your specific YouTube agreement. The partner earnings overview describes a 70% share of net revenues for channel memberships and other fan-funding features.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe figure in Studio is estimated membership revenue, not a promise of the amount that will be paid. YouTube says monthly estimated revenue can be adjusted for invalid traffic, Content ID claims and disputes, or certain ad campaign types. Finalized earnings appear in AdSense for YouTube. YouTube says earnings for the previous month are finalized and posted between the 7th and 12th of the following month; payment is issued only when applicable account requirements are met, including the payment threshold on the 20th.
When comparing Studio with AdSense, compare the same period where possible and account for adjustments, taxes, data timing, accrued earnings, and currency-conversion timing. A difference is not automatically an error.
Compare periods without mixing measures
- Choose the same date range in the Memberships report for each period being compared.
- Keep the membership source and any format filter consistent.
- Check Transactions Revenue and Total Member movement if you need context for changes; do not substitute either count for revenue.
- For an estimate-to-payment comparison, compare Studio’s selected-period estimate with the finalized prior-month earnings in AdSense for YouTube, allowing for adjustments and conversion timing.
Troubleshoot missing or confusing figures
- You cannot see Revenue or Memberships: YouTube says channel permissions affect access. Confirm that your account has the required access to the channel, or ask a channel administrator to check.
- The report is not in INR: The reviewed official guidance does not verify an INR display switch for this report. Use the currency shown in Studio and consult your AdSense for YouTube payment details; do not assume the report can be forced into rupees.
- The amount differs from your payout information: Check that you are comparing the same period and account for estimates becoming finalized, adjustments, taxes, timing, and currency conversion.
- Membership revenue seems low despite high viewership: Views and concurrent viewers are not membership transactions. Review the membership-source report, Transactions Revenue, and member movement separately.
- The mobile app does not show the payment activity you expect: YouTube’s Studio mobile-app payment features have eligibility and account-linkage conditions, so the same screen may not be available to every creator. Use Studio on the web and AdSense for YouTube for the relevant account details.
