There is no single service carrying every WNBA game in the 2026 U.S. season. To choose a live TV streaming option, start with the specific games and teams you want, then check the WNBA schedule and local availability for your ZIP code. WNBA League Pass can add many out-of-market games, but national and local blackouts prevent it from serving as a universal live-game pass.
Start with the games you want to watch
Coverage depends on the game, the network or streaming partner carrying it, and your location. Decide whether you mainly follow one local team, want games from around the league, or care most about nationally televised matchups. Local games may be carried by a regional network, local station, or streaming partner, so the answer can differ from one market to another.
- List your must-watch games. Include your team’s games and any national matchups you do not want to miss.
- Check each listing on the WNBA schedule. The listing identifies where a game is available.
- Check local access by ZIP code. Blackout status is tied to your current location; use the WNBA’s League Pass page ZIP lookup and local listings to confirm availability.
- Match services to the game list. Verify that the service carries the specific channel or streaming app for each game at your address before subscribing.
A live TV bundle may carry several of the relevant linear channels, but carriage differs by provider and location. The WNBA schedule and the provider’s current ZIP-level lineup are more reliable than assuming a particular bundle has every channel you need.
What carries WNBA games in the 2026 U.S. season?
The WNBA announced 216 partner-distributed games in a 330-game 2026 regular season. The league’s 15 teams each play 44 regular-season games. The partner distribution below is from the WNBA’s April 22, 2026 schedule announcement; it is a map of nationally distributed games, not a promise that any one service carries the whole schedule.

The nationally distributed partner total does not account for every way a game may be presented locally. The remaining games and local presentations make the full schedule essential when you are choosing coverage.
Where League Pass fits—and where it does not
WNBA League Pass is aimed at out-of-market live games and on-demand viewing. The WNBA lists full-game replays, highlights, classic games, and live stats among its features. It can be a useful complement if you want games outside your local market, but it does not show nationally televised or locally televised games live when blackout restrictions apply.

In the U.S., the WNBA says nationally blacked-out games become available on demand at 6 a.m. ET the next day. Locally blacked-out games become available shortly after the game ends. Blackout lists can change, so check each game’s schedule and local availability rather than relying on a general assumption about which games League Pass will stream live.
The WNBA’s League Pass product page listed an annual plan at $39.99 when accessed; the price can change. Compare the current price with the services you would need for the games League Pass blacks out, rather than treating League Pass as a replacement for those live broadcasts.

Check whether ION is available without a pay-TV bundle
Scripps says ION is available through pay television, connected TV platforms, free ad-supported streaming services, and over-the-air broadcasts. Its 2026 WNBA release describes a 50-game regular-season slate. If you can receive ION over the air, it may provide a no-pay-TV route to those games. Reception and availability vary by market, and ION does not cover games carried by other partners.

- Must-watch coverage: Confirm each game’s outlet, including local team telecasts and national exclusives.
- Local channel lineup: Verify access to the relevant ABC, CBS, NBC, ION, and regional or local outlet at your address. Do not assume a provider’s lineup is identical in every ZIP code.
- Blackout tolerance: Decide whether next-day or postgame access is acceptable for games that League Pass cannot show live.
- Total current cost: Add the current package price and any separate streaming subscriptions required for your selected games. Recheck prices and channel lineups at purchase.
- Device and app preference: Consider whether you want to watch through a provider’s app, a broadcaster’s app, the WNBA App, or Amazon Prime’s interface.
- Over-the-air reception: Check whether ION comes in clearly where you live and whether it carries games you want.
Choose the right way to watch League Pass on your TV
The WNBA Help Center lists Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and Android TV as supported places to purchase League Pass through the WNBA App or Channel in select markets. A Roku device can provide access to the app on a TV, but it does not include subscriptions or change broadcast rights.
There is also a platform distinction if you subscribe to League Pass through Amazon Prime: the WNBA says that subscription can be watched only in Amazon Prime apps and on its website, and cannot be used to sign in to WNBA.com or the WNBA App. Choose the subscription route that matches the interface you intend to use.
