SEGA/ATLUS lists Persona 4 Revival for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, and Steam on February 18, 2027; its current regional site lists Nintendo Switch 2 for May 20, 2027. Physical editions are listed only for PS5 and Switch 2. Official materials do not establish a technical-performance winner.
Which platforms are listed, and when do they release?
SEGA/ATLUS currently lists the following platforms and dates. The first group arrives earlier than the Switch 2 version.

Platform dates and physical-format details come from the SEGA/ATLUS regional product site. SEGA’s June 8, 2026 announcement also lists Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PS5, and Steam for February 18, 2027. Dates and local availability can change, so check the official listing for your market before ordering.
How should you choose?
Pick the system you already own if you want the simplest decision
If you have a PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or gaming PC and want to play on the first listed date, choose the version available for that hardware. The announced information does not show a performance advantage that would justify switching systems or buying new hardware for this game.

Choose PS5 or Switch 2 if you want a physical copy
The official regional site lists physical copies only for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. PS5 is listed for February 18, 2027; Switch 2 follows on May 20. If you want a cartridge or disc, decide whether the earlier PS5 date or the Switch 2 system is more important to you. The site does not establish that other regions will have identical stock or packaging.
Choose a PC storefront based on your setup and preference
Windows and Steam are both listed for February 18, 2027. The official site limits its physical-format listings to PS5 and Switch 2, so treat the PC options as digital unless an official local listing says otherwise. The materials reviewed do not compare PC requirements, graphics settings, or performance between storefronts.

Consider Game Pass only after checking your local catalog
SEGA lists Xbox Game Pass as an access option, but that does not establish inclusion in every region, plan, or at launch. Before relying on a subscription rather than buying the game, check the Xbox catalog and the terms for the plan available to you.

These are Japan-market figures, not worldwide prices; check the local storefront or retailer for current pricing, taxes, edition names, and contents. The US PlayStation store listing showed the Digital Premium Edition at $99.99 when accessed October 4, 2026. That is a storefront-specific listing that may change, and it is not directly comparable with the Japan prices above.
Are accessibility features the same on every platform?
The US PlayStation listing discloses basic controller remapping, adjustable difficulty, and an option to play without rapid or simultaneous button presses, among other accessibility details. These are claims on the PS5 store page, not confirmation that every version has the same features. If a particular setting matters to you, check the store page for the exact platform before purchase.
Is one version technically better?
The official materials reviewed do not provide comparative load times, resolution, frame rate, portability performance, or cross-save information. There is not enough published evidence here to rank the versions technically. Choose based on the system you have, release timing, physical versus digital preference, local price, and any platform-specific feature you need.
