There is no universally best setup in the community guides, and the right choice also depends on what your character has unlocked.
First, make sure you mean the right Legacy Piece
Roblox describes Legacy Piece as an open-world RPG inspired by One Piece and warns that the game is incomplete and may contain bugs or glitches. Several Roblox experiences have similar names, and fan guides may cover a different place or version. Confirm the experience you play before relying on a build name or ranking; recommendations below are community guidance, not official balance findings.
Choose priorities for your main activity

These are tradeoffs, not measured comparisons. Community guides do not establish controlled performance results that prove one combination is best.
Build around the four core components
A fan-made build guide treats a build as the combination of Devil Fruit, Fighting Style, Sword and Race. Consider how each part supports your main activity rather than judging a component in isolation.

- Devil Fruit: For PvP, look for abilities that support burst or control; for mob grinding, favor useful area coverage, and for bosses, reliable single-target damage.
- Fighting Style: Choose a style that complements your damage plan and leaves you able to keep pressure up or recover when your main abilities are unavailable.
- Sword: A weapon you have mastered can contribute dependable damage. For PvP, pair it with a way to create or exploit an opening; for boss farming, value sustained hits.
- Race: Consider whether its contribution supports survival, mobility or damage for the activity you prioritize. Community advice often favors survivability for solo farming, but access and your existing setup matter.
Fan guides also discuss Haki, stats, Mastery, Enhancement and Gems. Treat these as additional systems that can shape a build, not as guaranteed unlocks for every player. Prioritize upgrades that strengthen the role you chose instead of spreading resources across unrelated goals.
For PvP, balance pressure with a way to survive
Community recommendations emphasize burst damage, crowd control and mobility, but an all-damage setup can leave you vulnerable once an opponent answers. Build enough evasiveness or staying power to survive the counterattack and continue the fight.

One fan guide also recommends a survivable clan, a high-burst ability, a mastered weapon and an escape or mobility option for cooldown downtime. Use that as a framework rather than a fixed recipe: if you can already secure openings, improving survival may add more practical value than chasing still more burst. No retrieved source establishes a current, proven PvP meta.
For grinding, separate mob farming from boss runs
Ordinary enemies
For repeatable groups of mobs, favor area coverage, damage uptime and mobility. A setup that clears a pack quickly but leaves long pauses between useful attacks may be less convenient for repeated farming than one that keeps damage flowing with little downtime.

Boss farming
Bosses shift the emphasis toward single-target uptime and survivability. Broad attacks may still help, but reliable damage against one target and the ability to remain in the encounter matter more than clearing several enemies at once.
Leveling and progression
Grinding is not the only progression task. A community guide recommends quests and rank advancement because ranks gate later shops and unlocks. If your next useful build component is inaccessible, progressing through those gates may be a better immediate goal than optimizing a setup you cannot yet assemble.

Choose stats and upgrades for the job
A fan-made stats guide groups rolls into offensive, defensive and utility categories. It associates damage-oriented choices with combat, defensive choices with solo grinding or tanking, and utility such as Money, Luck or EXP with progression. Those categories can help you think through tradeoffs, but the guide’s fine-grained caps and numeric recommendations are not independently verified here; do not treat them as universal rules.
- For PvP, lean toward damage and control only while preserving enough defense or evasiveness to handle a counterattack.
- For solo mob or boss farming, consider whether added durability lets you maintain damage rather than retreating or restarting.
- For a progression bottleneck, utility may serve your immediate goal better than a combat-focused roll.
Use a practical decision sequence
- Name your main activity: PvP, ordinary mob farming, boss runs or general leveling. If you split time evenly, choose a balanced setup rather than assuming one build excels at all of them.
- Pick the key tradeoff: Decide whether the activity needs burst or sustained damage, area coverage or single-target uptime, control or mobility, and damage or survival.
- Inventory your unlocks: Check which Devil Fruits, Fighting Styles, Swords, Races and supporting upgrades you actually have available.
- Improve the accessible combination: Compare the likely benefit of upgrading your current gear with the time and cost of pursuing another unlock. Fan rankings alone do not establish that a long unlock path is worthwhile for your account.
- Reassess when your goal changes: A build tuned for mob clearing may not suit PvP or bosses. Adjust the role of your components and upgrades when the activity you do most changes.
How much to trust build rankings
Fan-made guides are useful for identifying common priorities, but they are not official balance charts or controlled tests. One fan tier list explicitly describes its rankings as editorial. Roblox’s own listing warns that the game is incomplete, so balance, availability and bugs may affect how advice applies. Treat named builds as starting points, verify unlocks and behavior in the experience you play, and avoid assuming a ranking proves a combination is optimal.
