You can’t claim the anniversary rewards through their original event now: Marvel Rivals’ first-anniversary activities ran in November and December 2025. The advertised 2,500 Units came from four separate activities, while the free Jeff costume was earned by playing battles in its own event. The official notes reviewed do not confirm a reissue.
How the 2,500 Units were earned
NetEase’s Version 20251127 patch notes described 2,500 Units in total across these four routes—not as a single login grant:

The Assemble amount was a maximum, not a guaranteed 600 Units for every player. The other three routes each listed a fixed reward tied to their stated activity.
How to get the free Jeff skin
The free costume was Jeff the Land Shark – Business Shark. It was separate from the Units: the Version 20251127 notes said players could jump into battles in the “Jeff’s Break Time” event to unlock the costume and custom interchangeable parts for free.

The notes do not give specific mission thresholds or a menu-by-menu claim sequence. They also distinguish Jeff’s free reward from costumes available through the event’s premium upgrade, including Invisible Woman’s Disappearing Dessert and Mister Fantastic’s Dad-tastic Reed.
When the anniversary rewards were available
The first-anniversary celebration, branded “Rivals’ Day 2025,” had two phases. Phase 1 began November 27, 2025, at 09:00 UTC; Phase 2 began December 4, 2025, at 09:00 UTC, according to the official patch notes. The countdown activity was described in the December 4 notes as taking place on December 6, 2025 (UTC), with a 72-hour window to enter Times Square after the countdown ended.

Those event windows have passed. The official notes cited here establish the original rewards and dates but do not establish that the Units or Jeff costume have returned, so don’t treat the old event steps as currently claimable.
