First, check which edition and bonuses you own
Edition labels can be confusing because The Lion’s Crest is described both as a preorder bonus and as part of the Royal Edition. The official listings distinguish the offers as follows:

The key distinction is that “Gold Edition” does not by itself prove a later purchase includes a preorder-only bonus. Check the exact SKU and owned add-ons for your platform and store. For a used physical copy, verify that any included code is unused and matches your platform and region; an edition name alone cannot confirm that a code remains redeemable.
How to claim The Lion’s Crest Bonus Quest
- Confirm The Lion’s Crest Bonus Quest is owned and downloaded for the account and platform that own the game.
- Play through the introductory quests until you complete “Laboratores.”
- Once the open world is available, speak to the local scribe near Trosky Castle. The quest is marked on the map with a DLC symbol.
- Complete “The Lion’s Crest” quest to earn its equipment rewards.

Where the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit appears
Download the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, then complete the opening quests through “Laboratores.” PLAION says the kit is placed in the shared stash once the introductory content has been unlocked. If you acquire or download it after completing that threshold, its notice appears the next time you log in. PLAION: Gallant Huntsman’s Kit

How to claim Shields of Seasons Passing
Shields of Seasons Passing is part of the Expansion Pass. PLAION’s published claim steps are for PlayStation: open the Store, search for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2,” scroll to Add-ons, open the Shields of Seasons Passing page, and claim the free add-on. If a bonus is missing
- Check that you are using the platform account that owns both the base game and the relevant add-on.
- Verify that the DLC is owned and downloaded, or, for the PlayStation shields, that you claimed the individual add-on from its Store page.
- Complete “Laboratores” before expecting the quest marker or stash items to appear.
- If you bought Gold after launch or have a used copy, inspect the exact SKU and your platform’s owned add-ons. Official edition descriptions do not establish that every later Gold purchase or resale copy includes The Lion’s Crest preorder entitlement.
