In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, use a burn or cut move on brambles, a Water-type or Special Psychic-type move on purple sludge, and a projectile move on spider webs. Clearing a web spreads it into a bridge between rooftops.
How to clear brambles
Target the thorns and send out a Pokémon with an eligible move. A burn-category move needs listed power of 90; a cutting move needs listed power of 150, according to Serebii’s obstacle reference. Fire-type moves and cutting moves are the relevant categories; GamesRadar’s obstacle guide also describes burning or cutting the brambles.
Examples named by Game8 include Flame Wheel, Heat Crash, Aerial Ace, Leaf Blade, and Slash. Treat these as examples, not a complete guaranteed list: eligibility depends on the move category and its power.
How to clear purple slime piles
Target the sludge and use a Water-type move or a Special Psychic-type move. Serebii lists required power of 90 for sludge; GamesRadar independently confirms that Water-type moves wash away the purple piles. The obstacle is also described as “Sludge” in the reference.

How to turn cobwebs into rooftop bridges
Target the spider web and hit it with a projectile move. Serebii lists projectile moves as the requirement and says the web creates a bridge across rooftops; GamesRadar describes striking the silk-covered center to spread the web into a bridge. No power threshold is stated for webs, so use the projectile category rather than assuming any attack will activate one.
What clearing obstacles can do
Besides opening a route, obstacles may conceal items. Clearing them can also open areas and reveal items or Pokémon, as noted by Serebii and GamesRadar. Check the newly accessible space after removing an obstacle.
