The season ran from August 7 to November 1, 2025, Eastern Time, so these are historical instructions; check the in-game Quests menu to see whether the quests are currently available.
All six birthday quests and how to complete them
The September 2025 guide from Prima Games lists six objectives. Its steps below explain what each required and which progress rules mattered.

1. Search eight containers before damaging a player
- Start a match and search eight containers.
- Do not damage an opponent until all eight have been searched.
The eight searches and the first damage to an enemy must happen in the same match; progress does not carry over between rounds. Prima Games recommends trying quieter named locations with containers, but that is a gameplay suggestion rather than a guaranteed strategy.
2. Use an emote beside a birthday cake
- Find a birthday cake near a named location.
- Stand close to it and use an emote.
The guide says any emote counts, so a dance is not required.

3. Throw three Birthday Presents
- Find Birthday Presents, which the guide says can appear rarely as floor loot.
- Throw three presents to meet the objective.
After a present is thrown, it becomes a large present that can be broken with a pickaxe.
4. Ascend 80 meters using balloons
- Find balloons while looting and equip them; the guide says you can equip up to three.
- Rise until the quest registers an ascent of 80 meters.
5. Eat eight slices of birthday cake
- Find cake slices around the large birthday cakes at named locations.
- Consume eight slices. This objective can be completed across multiple matches.
The guide says slices restore health or shields. If both are full, the interaction may not be available.

6. Wish the bus driver a happy birthday
At the start of a match, use the usual bus-driver input to thank the driver. The guide describes this as the birthday wish objective.
What is known about the birthday rewards
Prima Games reports that the set contained six quests and eight prizes, and says completing the set was needed to claim the birthday prizes. Its available details do not enumerate all eight rewards or specify each reward’s unlock threshold, so a complete reward-by-reward list cannot be established here.

Are these quests still available?
No current return of this historical quest set is established by the available information. Epic’s August 6, 2025 season announcement states that Chapter 6 Season 4 started August 7 and that its Shock ‘N Awesome Battle Pass was available to progress in from August 7 to November 1, 2025 Eastern Time. That season window has passed. The birthday guide was published September 23, 2025, but does not establish an exact event end time.
To check for a return, look in the in-game Quests menu. Epic’s quest support page explains that quests are accessed from the lobby and completed by playing the relevant experience.
