To complete Brickford’s LEGO Bestiary, catch 15 fish from a regular LEGO Pool and catch Studolodon separately in its own hunt or pool, then return to Brickford. This walkthrough reflects guides published April 26–27, 2025: TechWiser said the LEGO event ran only through May 3, 2025. Current availability, and whether the event has returned since, is not confirmed.
Find Brickford and accept the quest
In the guides, Brickford Masterson is aboard a LEGO boat near the Shipwright and leaderboard area on Moosewood in Sea 1. Beebom lists his position as X=410, Y=132, Z=366. Talk to him and accept the bestiary request; he reportedly provides the Brick Built Rod and Stud Bait for the activity.
Beebom’s quest guide has the location and quest details. The reported coordinates and NPC presence may not apply if the event is no longer active.
Find a regular LEGO Pool
Regular LEGO Pools are reported to appear at random around the First Sea. When one appears, the server notice identifies an island; the guides give the alert as “The Lego Pool has appeared somewhere around (Island Name).” Ask Brickford for the pool’s exact coordinates, then sail to it.

The reported spawn timing differs: Beebom says pools recur every 15 minutes, while TechWiser gives an interval of 15–20 minutes. Both report that a pool may last up to 10 minutes. Treat those as guide-reported timings, not a dependable current schedule.

Catch the 15 regular pool fish
Use the Brick Built Rod at the LEGO Pool. Beebom says it is the only rod that works for this activity and recommends Stud Bait. The same guide says a catch at the pool is guaranteed to be one of the bestiary fish, so it reports that other bait can work too; Seaweeds, Corals, or Deep Corals are suggested as alternatives for their stat benefits. These are guide recommendations rather than independently tested comparisons.

Catch Studolodon in its separate hunt
Studolodon is the 16th quest fish, but it does not come from a regular LEGO Pool. The guides describe a separate Studolodon hunt or pool in the First Sea, announced through a server notice. Follow that notice to find the encounter, then use the Brick Built Rod.
Beebom recommends alternating Tempest and Smokescreen Totems to speed up the hunt’s spawns. TechWiser reports that the hooked fish causes a severe progress-speed penalty. Both are secondary-source descriptions of the encounter, not guarantees of how it will behave in a current version of Fisch.

Turn in the collection and claim the reported reward
Once you have all 15 regular pool fish and Studolodon, return to Brickford to complete the request. Beebom reports the Arctic Explorer Boat as the reward; TechWiser also lists the Master Fisher Title and 30 Stud Baits. The guides differ in reward detail, so the title and bait should be treated as TechWiser’s additional reported rewards.
Beebom lists the Arctic Explorer Boat’s in-game stats as speed 100 S/ps, steering 33, and acceleration 0.25 S/ps. TechWiser says the boat is modeled after LEGO City Arctic Explorer Ship set 60368; buying the physical set does not help complete the in-game quest.
