To complete Forced Perspective: Caged Bird, find Ginona near the Florawish Lane Warp Spire, use photo mode to frame the nearby bird models so they look as if they are inside the cage, then show the picture to her. The community quest page lists Land of Wishes in Wishfield Chapter 1: Wishes Without Wings as a prerequisite.
Where to start the Caged Bird quest
Travel to Florawish and look for Ginona near the Florawish Lane Warp Spire. She is close to the nearby houses and bridge, south of Great Wishtree Square. If she is not there, check that you have completed Land of Wishes, the prerequisite listed by the quest guide.
Ginona asks for a photo of a “Caged Bird.” The bird is not a separate creature to photograph: the puzzle uses perspective to make objects in the scene appear connected.
How to take the Caged Bird photo
- Stand in front of the cage near Ginona.
- Open the camera and move the view until the nearby bird models line up with the cage, making them appear to be inside it.
- Use the photo-mode highlights to identify the objects the composition needs. They can be highlighted before they are aligned correctly, so adjust the camera view until the scene reads as a bird in a cage.
- Take the photo once the composition looks right.
- Speak to Ginona and show her the photo to complete the objective.
Ginona describes the idea as “a photography technique that creates a visual distortion or illusion with unique angles and composition.”

If the photo is difficult to line up
A community guide suggests setting the aperture to maximum and hiding Nikki if either makes the composition easier to see. These are optional troubleshooting tips, not stated quest requirements; the key is aligning the bird models and cage in the frame.
If the current game client presents different prompts or the photo is not accepted, follow the in-game instructions. Available guide coverage may not reflect changes after later updates.
