When the 2026 Crimson Eye event runs
Kinetic Games scheduled Crimson Eye for October 8 through November 1, 2026. The v0.19.1.0 patch notes confirm the event launch and add a Seasonal Event toggle for controlling event maps during a session. Kinetic Games’ event announcement and the v0.19.1.0 patch notes are the official references for the event and update.

How to make progress toward event rewards
- Update the game. Use the event build and check the in-game event board or interface for current progress.
- Select a featured location. The announced locations are 6 Tanglewood Drive, 42 Edgefield Road, Grafton Farmhouse, 13 Willow Street, Bleasdale Farmhouse, Point Hope (Standard only), Camp Woodwind, and Nell’s Diner. Point Hope Restricted is excluded.
- Investigate and look for Blood Moon totems. Totems, completed investigations, and optional objectives on featured event locations earn points. Blood Moon weather makes the challenge more difficult; the official announcement does not prescribe a particular equipment loadout or difficulty strategy.
- Check the event interface after contracts. Review personal and community progress and any rewards shown as available. The official announcement does not give point thresholds or a precise button-by-button claiming sequence, so use the current in-game interface rather than assuming a particular redemption flow.
The announcement names the featured maps but does not publish a daily rotation schedule in its accessible text. The Seasonal Event toggle is a per-session setting for event maps, as described in the patch notes.

What rewards are available
- Seasonal tee: listed among event rewards. A separate Twitch Drop also offers a Crimson Eye tee; the announcement does not clarify whether that Drop and the event-point reward are the same reward instance.
- Beholder ID Card & Badge set: an announced unlockable reward.
- Blood Moon charm: an announced unlockable reward.
- Upgradeable trophy: returning trophy owners make progress on their existing trophy instead of receiving another one.
Kinetic Games does not state the point requirements for these rewards or trophy upgrades in the accessible event announcement. Check the in-game interface for your current progress; do not rely on thresholds from previous Halloween events.

Time-limited extras and dates
| Offer | Dates and requirement | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Crimson Eye tee Twitch Drop | Watch a total of two hours of Phasmophobia streams before 11:59 PM BST on October 15, 2026. | The announcement does not provide the channel, account-linking, or redemption steps. Consult the official Twitch Drops instructions linked by Kinetic Games. |
| Double XP & Rewards | October 15–22, 2026. | Rewards from completed investigations are doubled. This is a bonus window, not a stated prerequisite for earning event rewards. |
| Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts | October 26–November 1, 2026. | Announced with the American Heart Association; Kinetic Games said further details would follow nearer the event, so participation mechanics are not established here. |
The Twitch viewing requirement is a separate Drop path; Kinetic Games does not say that watch time contributes to event points. It reports that the Phasmophobia community raised over $100,000 for the American Heart Association during the 2025 Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts. That is a developer-reported figure, not an independently audited total.
