The Island Stories quest listing records those objectives, but its availability window ended August 7, 2025; check the live Quest interface to see whether it has returned before searching for the characters.
Is “Skillet’s Scheme” available in Fortnite now?
The quest is listed as part of Island Stories Quests, which the Fortnite Wiki quest listing reports were available from June 7 through August 7, 2025. That is a historical window, not confirmation that the quest is currently playable. The available information does not establish whether Epic has brought it back or made its objectives available in another mode. Check the in-game Quest interface before beginning the walkthrough.
How to complete “Skillet’s Scheme”
The quest listing gives five stages in this order. NPC alternatives are listed for the two intel objectives; you need one of the named characters at each location.
- Pretend to be eliminated near Skillet. Crouch near him to show that you mean no harm.
- Speak with Skillet. Ask him about the valuable intel Midas requested.
- Get intel on the Mask Maker. Go to Shogun’s Solitude and talk to either Kendo or Jade.
- Get intel on the Spires. Go to Supernova Academy and talk to Hope, Vengeance Jones, or Night Rose.
- Return to Skillet. Talk with him and agree to tell Midas that Skillet acquired all the intel.
These objectives and NPC choices are recorded in the Fortnite Wiki’s Island Stories Quests listing, a community-maintained source.

Where is Skillet?
The quest listing identifies Skillet as the character to approach and revisit, but the available quest text does not establish his map location. A separate nonofficial walkthrough search result places him at the pool area of Lonewolf Lair, but that location is not corroborated by the quest listing. If the quest is active, use the live map or quest markers to find him rather than relying on that unverified location.

At the last stage, Skillet asks you to tell Midas that he acquired all the intel. The Fortnite Wiki attributes this line to his in-game dialogue: “Awright, so I played possum while you did all the work.”
