To complete The Data Leaks, own an Agency, finish one Security Contract, meet Franklin, and complete the On-Course and Data Recovery missions. Then finish all three leak strands—in any order—followed by Studio Time and Don’t F*** With Dre. The contract supports solo play.
Unlock The Data Leaks
- Buy and enter an Agency, then use its computer to complete a Security Contract.
- Meet Franklin at the Los Santos Golf Club after he calls. Complete the one-time On-Course mission.
- Return to the Agency computer and launch Data Recovery, the one-time setup that opens the VIP Contract.
Complete Data Recovery
Enter the FIB building, reach the communications room, install the software, and wait for it to finish. Take the hard drive, leave the building, lose the police, and deliver the drive to the Agency. Destroying the computer is listed as a failure condition. Mission objectives and failure conditions are listed in the GTABase mission reference.

Complete the three leak strands
Each strand has two investigation setups and a finale. You can complete the strands in any order; doing one strand from start to finish before moving to the next is simply an easy way to track your progress.
Nightlife Leak
- Go to a Triad nightclub and steal its security footage.
- Follow the lead from Puerto Del Sol Marina to a yacht, gather evidence, and send a photo to Imani.
- Recover the music at a casino penthouse party and deliver the backpack to the Agency.
High Society Leak
- Investigate a signal at the Pacific Bluffs Country Club and follow the country-club lead.
- Infiltrate the gathering at the Richman mansion, take the lawyer, and bring him to the Agency.
- Return to the mansion to locate the music, then pursue the billionaire’s helicopter and recover the phone.
South Central Leak
- Investigate a trace in Davis with Franklin’s Families contact. Drive Vernon, interrupt a deal, take the meth equipment, escape the Lost MC, and deliver the equipment.
- Follow Vernon to Davis and help defend the Families. Protect Vernon during this setup.
- Follow Vernon and P to Rancho Projects, defeat the Vagos, take the lowrider carrying the music, and deliver it to the Agency. Avoid destroying the lowrider.
Finish the VIP Contract

Take Dr. Dre’s car to Record A Studios, clear the hired gunmen, and reach the control room.

Don’t F*** With Dre
Locate Johnny Guns, follow the lead to the LSIA hangar, capture him, and get Dr. Dre to safety. The mission reference lists Dr. Dre’s death, destruction of his vehicle, and the bodyguard’s death as failure conditions.

The Data Leaks can be played solo or with friends; the mission reference describes it as a one-to-four-player activity. After the initial run, the Agency computer can launch replay missions, and the guide reports that waits between stages are removed.
