The 2026 March of the Goblins anniversary event ran from June 2 to June 9, 2026, and is no longer active. While it was live, players progressed its reputation board by personally slaying Treasure Goblins; reaching the final rank earned the Regalia of the Sacred Creed. The steps below explain how the event worked and can serve as a guide if Blizzard brings it back.
How did you complete March of the Goblins?
- Hunt Treasure Goblins while the event is active. Personally slaying them advanced the March of the Goblins reputation board. Blizzard’s guide to a later iteration confirms that goblin kills progressed the board and that each tier improved the loot bags dropped by goblins: Blizzard’s March of the Goblins guide.
- Check the event reputation board. Use it to track your tier progress and see which rewards have unlocked. Blizzard’s 2026 anniversary announcement confirmed that the board returned: Blizzard’s 2026 anniversary announcement.
- Claim unlocked caches in Kyovashad. Blizzard’s guide for a later event iteration directs players to Goblin Square in Kyovashad to collect reward caches as tiers unlock. The 2026 announcement does not specify the board’s location, so this location is confirmed for the recurring event format, not explicitly for the 2026 version.
- Reach the final rank for the anniversary reward. In the 2026 event, completing the final rank earned the Regalia of the Sacred Creed.
How many goblins did you need to kill?
Blizzard’s 2026 announcement does not give the tier thresholds, a total kill requirement, or a full reward-by-rank table. A June 2026 forum discussion included a player-reported figure of 600 kills, but that is not official confirmation and should not be treated as the event’s established requirement.

What else was available during the 2026 anniversary?
The March of the Goblins ran alongside other anniversary offerings, but they were not stated as requirements for progressing the goblin board. Mother’s Blessing began June 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PDT and granted increased multiplicative XP in both Seasonal and Eternal realms. Blizzard also listed five gifts in the in-game shop:
- Blood Raven’s Talon, a one-handed sword cosmetic
- King Kanai’s Last Stand, a shield cosmetic
- Nangari Wounder, a dagger cosmetic
- Overlord’s Odium, a two-handed axe
- Flamefinger’s Claws, a glaive cosmetic
How was the 2026 event different from the 2025 anniversary?
The 2025 event had different dates and bonuses, so those details do not apply to the 2026 version. Blizzard announced a June 3–17, 2025 window, an Anniversary Event Reliquary, and a Mother’s Blessing that granted 35% experience and 50% gold. The 2026 event instead ran June 2–9, 2026; its announcement described increased multiplicative XP without specifying the 2025 percentages.
