The Realm of Tempered Valor was a limited-time Version 5.4 combat event that ran from February 24 to March 10, 2025; that event window has ended, and no reviewed source confirms a rerun. This guide explains its documented entry requirements, floor rules, skip system, friend boon, and stage-specific mechanics.
Can you still play Realm of Tempered Valor?
No—not during the documented event period. The official event notice gave the window as February 24, 2025, at 10:00 through March 10, 2025, at 03:59. The sources available for this guide do not confirm a rerun, so treat the mechanics below as a guide to the 2025 event rather than a currently available activity. Official event notice

What were the entry requirements and event structure?
To enter, players needed Adventure Rank 20 or higher and had to complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III, “Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” The event contained five challenges, each with 25 combat floors. One challenge unlocked per day beginning on the first event day, and enemy level and HP increased as players advanced through a challenge. Official event notice
How did the 30-second floor rule work?
You had to defeat the floor’s enemies within 30 seconds to clear it and continue. If time ran out, you could not advance to the next floor in that attempt; results depended on the highest floor reached and the time spent. Focus first on completing each floor before the timer expires, then try to improve clear speed.

#1 Best Overall
Fast clears could skip ahead based on the time remaining when a floor was cleared. The event guide lists these thresholds: event guide
| Time remaining after clearing | Floors skipped |
|---|---|
| At least 12 seconds | 1 |
| At least 16 seconds | 2 |
| At least 20 seconds | 3 |
| At least 23 seconds | 4 |
| At least 25 seconds | 5 |
The maximum number of floors you could skip decreased at Floors 14, 15, 16, 17, and 22. Skipping saves time, but it can also send your party into a higher-level fight sooner; do not chase skips if doing so puts your next clear at risk. The event could resume from a save point automatically calculated from your best result. The guide also describes an option to start from a specific middle floor after reaching a certain World Level, but does not state the World Level threshold. event guide

How should you approach the challenges?
There was no single universally best team: enemy lineups and challenge buffs varied. Check the active challenge’s enemies and modifier, then use a team that can exploit that modifier while reliably finishing fights inside the timer. A powerful bonus is useful only if it fits your team and the enemies on that stage. event guide
Traverse, Realm of Sudden Change
The guide describes a 60% increase to Melt and Vaporize damage. Triggering Melt, Vaporize, or Frozen also increased party ATK by 50% for six seconds, stacking up to three times. This is a stage-specific effect, so use it when playing that named challenge rather than assuming it applied throughout the event. The guide also describes one-time recovery buffs after Floors 10 and 15. event guide

Resonate, Land of Concordant Heroes
This challenge’s guide entry describes a party buff triggered by a Nightsoul Burst. The source summary does not provide the buff’s precise effect, so check the in-game challenge description rather than relying on an assumed value. event guide

If a friend had cleared Floor 20 of the corresponding single-player challenge, you could receive that friend’s Boon of Friendship. The guide lists the boon as +25% Max HP, ATK, and DEF, plus +200 Elemental Mastery for party members. If multiple friends qualified, one friend’s boon was selected at random. event guide
What rewards could you earn?
The official notice says clearing floors granted Primogems, Character Talent Materials, Sanctifying Unction, and other rewards. The event guide lists single-player objectives at floors including 2, 9, 15, and 20; Floor 20 objectives include Mora, while lower-floor objectives include Primogems or other listed rewards. Because the reward icons in the guide are not reliably legible as text, an exact total for the event cannot be established from these sources. Official event notice · event guide
