The original Reaper’s Rewards event in The Sims 4 has ended. EA scheduled quests for September 24 through November 19, 2024, and allowed players to claim rewards already earned until November 26, 2024. EA’s cited event information does not announce a rerun or a current way to earn its rewards, so these steps explain how the event worked while it was live—not how to reopen it now.
Can you still complete the Reaper’s Rewards event?
No. The quest period ended on November 19, 2024, and the Event Screen’s claim window ended on November 26, 2024, according to EA’s September 18, 2024 event announcement. The cited EA pages do not establish that the event has returned or that unearned rewards can now be unlocked.
How the event worked while it was active
EA described six weeks of quests, with two quests each week, followed by two extra weeks for catching up. Event Points accumulated as players completed objectives; finishing a whole quest awarded additional points. Claiming a reward did not subtract points from the total. Points applied only to this event and expired when it ended.
- Go online and sign in. Connect the game to the internet and sign in to an EA Account.
- Open a household in Live Mode. Start or load a household and wait briefly for Grim’s prompt, which introduced the first pair of quests. During the event, players could also reach the event interface from its icon; EA Help describes the general Events Screen as accessible through the Events tab on the Main Menu.
- Complete quest objectives. Objectives earned Event Points, and completing an entire quest earned extra points. Hovering over a quest showed tips and point information; the quest timer indicated when another set would unlock.
- Claim rewards in the Event Screen. Rewards could be claimed from the Event Screen in the Main Menu or Live Mode. Consumable rewards had to be claimed while in Live Mode.
- Find claimed rewards in the right place. Depending on the reward, look in Build Mode, Create a Sim, or the Sim’s inventory. EA’s event page directed players to filter for Event Rewards under the Special category in Build Mode or Create a Sim. EA Help notes that claimed reward items carry a Plumbob icon.
Did Reaper’s Rewards require a Pack?
No. EA said no Pack was required to participate in or complete Reaper’s Rewards. EA Help notes that some events can include optional Pack-specific quests for players who own the relevant Pack, but those quests do not block completion. That general guidance is not a reason to buy a Pack for this expired event.

If the event did not appear during its 2024 run
EA’s event announcement advised players at the time to check that they were online and signed in, restart The Sims 4, or disable UI mods if the event screen was missing. Those were troubleshooting steps for the scheduled event; they do not restore the expired quests or claim window.
Where to look for rewards you already claimed
- Build Mode: Check the Event Rewards filter under the Special category.
- Create a Sim: Check Event Rewards under Special for applicable Create-a-Sim items.
- Sim inventory: Check the household Sim’s inventory for rewards delivered there, including consumables.
EA Help’s guide to The Sims 4 Events describes reward claiming and locations. The exact destination depends on the reward type; the cited sources do not establish a way to recover rewards that were never claimed before the cutoff.
