This is distinct from the separately named Act 1 quest. Area layouts are randomized, so follow the named objectives rather than fixed map coordinates.
Start the Act 2 quest at the Ardura Caravan
- Complete Earning Passage, speak with Zarka, and enter the Ardura Caravan.
- Speak with the Hooded One, then Sekhema Asala.
- Use the Desert Map to travel to Mawdun Quarry.
Find Rudja in Mawdun Mine
Continue from Mawdun Quarry into Mawdun Mine and reach the Munitions Bunker. Fight Rudja, Dread Engineer, there. Afterward, return to the caravan to continue the route.

Proceed through Halani Gates and Traitor’s Passage
Use the Desert Map to travel onward to Halani Gates and follow the quest conversations involving Asala and Risu. The quest then sends you through Traitor’s Passage; ascend toward Halani Gates and continue with the objectives shown in your quest log.
Optional encounter: Balbala
The route through the Ancient Seal and Prison of the Disgraced includes an optional Balbala encounter. It is separate from the main quest progression, so you do not need to treat it as a required step to continue the story.

Follow the Horn of the Vastiri storyline to the finale
After exploring Halani Gates with Asala and defeating Jamanra there, return to the caravan to complete the Horn of the Vastiri objective. The remaining route proceeds through Deshar toward the Path of Mourning, where you defeat Tor Gul, and then into the Dreadnought. Fight through the Dreadnought and defeat Jamanra, the Abomination. Speak with the Hooded One and Asala afterward to advance the quest.
Act 2 quest rewards
The Act 2 quest page lists rewards at separate milestones: a Level 7 Uncut Skill Gem after defeating Jamanra at Halani Gates, and a Level 2 Uncut Support Gem for recreating the Horn of the Vastiri. These should not be confused with the Level 5 Uncut Skill Gem listed for the separately named Act 1 quest, awarded by Leitis.
