The Weather Monitoring System was a five-stage seasonal donation project in ARC Raiders, not a single map objective. It may no longer be available: Embark described it as seasonal in its February 24, 2026 Shrouded Sky notes. Check the in-game Projects interface before collecting anything. If the project is listed, use the historical requirements and reward list below; if you contributed before it ended, check your in-game inbox as Embark advised in its April 14, 2026 Patch Notes 1.24.0.
Check whether the project is available
Embark called it “The Weather Monitoring System – Seasonal Player Project.” The official February 24, 2026 notes identify it as seasonal, but do not establish whether or when it returned. Look in the in-game Projects interface; the steps here are a historical walkthrough, not confirmation that donations are currently open.
Embark’s April 14, 2026 patch notes asked players who had contributed but could not finish in time to check their in-game inbox in the following days. The notice does not specify what each player received.
How the five stages worked
Each stage required donating a set of materials. The item sources and rewards below come from PC Gamer’s February 24, 2026 Weather Monitoring Project guide. Its location advice is a set of scavenging and recycling leads, not a guarantee of a spawn.

If the project is active, you can gather materials for later stages early and store them until they are needed, according to the guide. Several components require salvage from a specific ARC enemy, so target the named machine rather than relying only on general scavenging.
Stage 1: Atmospheric Pressure
- Donate: 25 Plastic Parts, 15 Metal Parts, 5 Arc Alloy, and 3 Oil.
- Where to look: Scavenge or recycle for Plastic Parts and Metal Parts. Arc Alloy is common salvage from destroyed ARC machines. Look in Mechanical areas for Oil, or recycle grenades, mines, Coolant, Motors, or Synthesized Fuel.
- Reward: 5 Durable Cloth, 5 Great Mullein, 5 Antiseptic, and 3 Vita Shots.
Stage 2: Sunlight
- Donate: 1 Snitch Scanner, 3 Wires, 3 Sensors, and 1 Comet Igniter.
- Where to look: Kill and loot a Snitch for its scanner and a Comet for its igniter. Search Electrical and Technological areas, including computers and server boxes, for Wires; Portable TVs, Power Cables, and Humidifiers are listed as recyclable sources. Look for Sensors in Security and Technological areas, recycle items such as Radios, Tagging Grenades, and Explosive Mines, or seek possible drops from Snitches and Surveyors.
- Reward: 10 Processor, 5 Advanced Electrical Components, 3 Ziplines, and 1 Raider Hatch.
Stage 3: Precipitation
- Donate: 5 Arc Powercells, 12 Canisters, 3 Steel Springs, and 1 Fine Wristwatch.
- Where to look: Loot ARC machines for Arc Powercells. Canisters are common scavenging finds, particularly in Commercial areas; Bicycle Pumps, Humidifiers, and Smoke Grenades can be recycled for them, and the guide says Celeste may sell some. Scavenge Steel Springs, especially around cars or in Industrial areas, recycle various weapon mods, or buy them from Celeste. The Fine Wristwatch is a rare trinket: search Commercial and Residential areas, or bird nests during the Bird City map condition.
- Reward: 3 Medium Gun Parts, 2 Complex Gun Parts, 3 Advanced Mechanical Components, and 1 Renegade III.
Stage 4: Humidity
- Donate: 10 Duct Tape, 3 Rusted Bolts, 1 Water Pump, and 3 Wasp Drivers.
- Where to look: Search Residential and Commercial loot for Duct Tape, recycle weapon mods, or buy it from Celeste. Rusted Bolts are more common in Mechanical and Industrial areas; the guide names Spaceport’s Container Storage, Vehicle Maintenance, and Shipping Warehouse. Search Mechanical and Industrial areas for a Water Pump. Named examples include Research and Administration and Power Generation Complex on Dam Battlegrounds, where metal crates, shelves, and tables are suggested. Kill and loot Wasps for Wasp Drivers.
- Reward: 10 Explosive Compounds, 3 Showerstoppers, 3 Trailblazers, and 1 Extended Barrel attachment.
Stage 5: Temperature
- Donate: 3 Camera Lenses, 1 Damaged Heatsink, 1 Firefly Burner, and 3 Voltage Converters.
- Where to look: Camera Lenses can appear broadly; Security areas are highlighted. Look for Damaged Heatsinks in Technological areas such as server cabinets and desks. Kill and loot a Firefly for its burner. Search Electrical areas, containers, and desks for Voltage Converters, or recycle Heavy Shields, Industrial Chargers, Ion Sputters, and Signal Amplifiers.
- Reward: 1 Medium Shield, 5 Surge Shield Rechargers, 3 Sterilized Bandages, and 1 Tactical MK.3 Revival.
Full-completion reward
PC Gamer’s guide lists an Anemometer backpack charm and 250 Raider Tokens for completing all five stages. These are in-game rewards reported for the historical project; they do not establish what a future return would offer.

Practical donation checklist
- Open the in-game Projects interface and confirm that the Weather Monitoring System project is actually available.
- Use the stage lists to check your inventory and plan what to collect. If you find later-stage materials early, the guide says you could store them for when those stages became available.
- For enemy-specific components, target the relevant ARC type: Snitch Scanner from a Snitch, Comet Igniter from a Comet, Wasp Drivers from Wasps, and Firefly Burner from a Firefly.
- After donating, check the project interface for the next stage’s requirements and track your progress there.
- If you contributed but did not finish before the deadline, check your in-game inbox, as Embark’s April 14, 2026 notice instructed. The notice does not state the compensation contents.
