“With a View” quest objectives and rewards
Complete the objectives in this order:
- Obtain one Rotary Encoder.
- Visit a Control Room near the Assembly Line on Stella Montis.
- Use the Rotary Encoder to activate the server switch.
- Interact with the nearby computer to identify the correct parts.
- Deliver one Ion Sputter to Shani.
The listed rewards are 5 Steel Springs, 5 Wires, and 1 Tactical Mk. 2. Quest reference
Where to find a Rotary Encoder
Search suggested Exodus-loot areas on Stella Montis. Guides identify the following places, but none guarantees that an encoder will spawn in a particular container:
- Assembly
- Medical or Medical Research
- The Lobby security office

How to use the Rotary Encoder in the Assembly control room
Look for an Assembly control room in the Assembly Workshop area. The rooms described in the walkthrough have terminals and windows. Keep the encoder until you reach the quest interaction.
- Enter a Control Room near the Assembly Line.
- Find the quest-marked yellow lever and use the Rotary Encoder to activate the server switch.
- Interact with the nearby computer to identify the correct parts.

Where to find the Ion Sputter
The Ion Sputter is the final quest hand-in. An Insider Gaming guide describes it as an Epic item and reports that Assembly Workshops on Stella Montis are a common place to find one.
