To craft one basic Pal Sphere in Palworld, unlock its recipe at Technology Level 2, then use a Primitive Workbench with 1 Paldium Fragment, 3 Wood, and 3 Stone.
What you need to craft a Pal Sphere
- Technology Level 2: unlock the Pal Sphere recipe in the Technology menu. Recipe details are listed in the Pal Sphere reference.
- Materials per sphere: 1 Paldium Fragment, 3 Wood, and 3 Stone.
- Primitive Workbench: build this station to craft the sphere. It unlocks automatically at Technology Level 1 and costs 2 Wood, according to the Primitive Workbench reference.
Craft a Pal Sphere step by step
- At Technology Level 1, build a Primitive Workbench using 2 Wood.
- Reach Technology Level 2 and spend the required Technology Point to unlock the Pal Sphere recipe in the Technology menu.
- Gather 1 Paldium Fragment, 3 Wood, and 3 Stone for each sphere you want to make.
- Interact with the Primitive Workbench, choose Pal Sphere, and start crafting. A Pal with handiwork ability can help with production at the bench.
Do you need a Sphere Workbench?
No. The Primitive Workbench is enough for the basic Pal Sphere, so you can craft it as soon as its Level 2 recipe is unlocked. The later Sphere Workbench is a dedicated station listed at Level 14 for 3 Technology Points; building it requires 10 Paldium Fragments, 30 Wood, 10 Nails, and 20 Ingots, per the Sphere Workbench reference.
Pocketpair’s official server technology index also names higher sphere tiers—Mega, Giga, Hyper, Ultra, Legendary, and Ultimate—and structures including the Sphere Workbench and Sphere Assembly Line. That index is a technology reference, not a player-facing recipe guide. It does not establish a specific crafting-speed advantage for later stations.
When a recipe does not match
Crafting recipes and unlock details can change between game updates. If your menu differs, use the in-game Technology menu and the recipe displayed at your workbench as the current reference for your game version.
