To run prerecorded Hindi ghazal videos as a continuous YouTube live stream, put the cleared files in a playlist and send them to a YouTube live event with an encoder such as OBS—or use cloud playout. A normal YouTube playlist is not itself a live broadcast. Before starting, confirm that you have permission to broadcast both the underlying compositions and the specific recordings, for the territories and uses you intend, including any archived stream.
What you need before you start
- Video files that play correctly, with sound and picture present throughout.
- A playlist arranged in the order you want the ghazals to play.
- A YouTube channel able to start a live stream, plus its stream URL and private stream key.
- A cleared set of recordings and compositions for the intended live broadcast and territories.
- Either a computer and stable internet connection for local encoding, or a cloud playout service.
For a multi-file playlist, check that files work together across transitions. A vendor guide notes that differences in codec, frame rate, or audio layout can cause playlist problems; treat this as practical vendor advice, not a YouTube requirement or an independently validated technical rule. See the vendor guide.
Choose local encoding or cloud playout
Neither route is universally better. The choice is mainly whether you want to operate the playback from your own computer or have a service play the uploaded files remotely.
| Consideration | Local encoder | Cloud playout |
|---|---|---|
| Where files play | Your computer | Vendor infrastructure, according to the vendor description |
| Must your computer stay online? | Yes, for this workflow | The vendor says no after setup and start |
| Main trade-off | Direct control, but the stream depends on your computer, power, and internet connection | Less local-machine upkeep, but adds a vendor, service terms, and a cost question |
| Good starting point | You have a suitable computer and want to manage playback directly | You want playback to continue without leaving your computer running |
The cloud description is the vendor’s own claim, not an independent reliability comparison. Read the vendor’s description of cloud playout.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Prepare and check the ghazal files
- Make a rights-cleared song list. Record the title, performer, recording/version, rights contacts, and the territories and uses covered by each permission. Do this before uploading or scheduling a broadcast.
- Arrange the playlist. Put the video files in the desired sequence and check that each has both audio and video. Play through transitions rather than checking only the first file.
- Confirm the material stays suitable for broadcast. Review the actual files and playlist for unexpected silence, black frames, abrupt endings, or other issues that would interrupt the listening experience.
- Keep the originals and playlist details available. They help you identify the exact version if a rights question or playback issue arises.
Create the YouTube live event and protect its key
- Open YouTube Studio and create a live stream using the available live-stream setup. Choose the intended title, visibility, and other event details in Studio.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key provided for the event into your encoder or cloud service’s YouTube destination settings.
- Keep the stream key private. Anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in screenshots or public playlist notes.
- Start the encoder or cloud playout, then confirm in YouTube Studio that the incoming feed is recognized and the event is live.
YouTube documents RTMPS as RTMP carried through an SSL connection. Use the destination details supplied for your stream rather than guessing a server address. YouTube: Stream using encoder software.
Run the stream with OBS on your computer
OBS is a free, open-source local encoder. Its publisher says the software has no watermark or commercial-use restrictions; get it from the official OBS site. In this setup, OBS plays the files and sends the outgoing feed, so the computer, OBS, power, and internet connection need to remain available while the channel is live.

- Install OBS from the official site and open it.
- Add the video playback source or sources needed for your playlist. Configure playback to continue through the intended files and repeat the sequence if you want it to loop. The exact source setup depends on how your files are organized.
- In OBS, open Settings > Stream. Select YouTube as the service and enter the stream key from YouTube Studio; use the stream URL or server details required by the selected service configuration.
- Check the preview and listen to the audio. Confirm that both picture and sound continue at transitions and that the intended playlist repeats.
- Start streaming in OBS. Check YouTube Studio for the incoming feed and confirm the event shows as live.
- Keep OBS running and monitor the YouTube live status. If the local computer sleeps, loses power, closes OBS, or loses its connection, the outgoing feed can stop.
OBS’s exact menus and source options can vary by version and setup. The key operational point is that local playback and encoding happen on the machine running OBS.
Rights checks: clear the recordings and compositions
Having a video file—or being able to play it privately—does not establish permission to broadcast it. A ghazal can involve separate rights in the musical composition and in the particular sound recording. The relevant permissions may involve artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants; the required rights depend on the exact song, recording, territory, and planned use.

YouTube’s live-stream terms state: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” YouTube: Livestream terms and conditions.
YouTube says music is copyright-safe when it is in the public domain or used with the copyright owner’s permission; a label such as “free” alone does not establish that it is safe. The specific ghazals, recordings, rights holders, country, and agreements determine what permission you need, so verify the scope with the rights holder or a qualified rights professional before going live. Check live rights and archive rights separately
Confirm that permission covers live use on YouTube in the territories where the broadcast will be available. If you plan to keep the live stream archive, check that the permission also covers that use. Do not assume that a license for a recording, a different platform, or an offline use covers a YouTube live stream and its archive.
Plan for Content ID interruptions
YouTube scans live streams for third-party material. If it detects content, it may show a warning, replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. YouTube also warns: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the third-party content.” Ask the relevant owner about Content ID allowlisting where applicable. A claim may also be made after the stream ends if the broadcast is archived. YouTube: Copyright issues with live streams.

Creator Music is not a live-stream workaround
YouTube’s Creator Music FAQ says its licensing does not currently support live content. It therefore does not provide a general route to clear ghazals for this kind of broadcast. YouTube Creator Music FAQ.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Monitor the broadcast and troubleshoot stoppages
- YouTube does not show an incoming feed: Check that the event is set up in YouTube Studio, the correct stream key and destination details are entered, and the encoder is actually sending.
- The feed starts but stops: For a local setup, check whether the computer slept, lost power or internet, or OBS stopped. Restore the local playback and encoding, then confirm the live status in Studio.
- A playlist transition has missing audio or video: Recheck the affected files and their transition. Differences in codec, frame rate, or audio layout are vendor-identified possible causes; test the files together and use compatible exports if needed.
- YouTube warns about or interrupts music: Review the notice and identify the exact recording. Contact the rights holder to resolve the claim and ask about allowlisting if the material is licensed. A license by itself does not guarantee uninterrupted live playback when the channel is not allowlisted.
- The live broadcast is available but the archive receives a claim: Revisit whether the permissions cover the archived use and address the claim with the rights holder or through YouTube’s applicable process.
Keep a way to respond while the stream is running. An unattended loop does not remove the need to monitor YouTube’s live status or deal with rights notices.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for looping uploaded videos: upload the files, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it plays your uploads rather than broadcasting from a camera. Every slot streams the files as uploaded at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers, and includes 10 GB of storage per slot (pooled across active slots), looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and support from the StreamNeo team. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Plans differ by duration:
- Daily $0.99 per day
- Weekly $2.99 per week
- Monthly $9.99 per month
- 6 months $49.99 for 6 months
- Yearly $89.99 a year
Billing can be for a day, week, month, six months, or year, and can be cancelled any time. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support. The service handles playback, not music rights: clear the ghazals and monitor YouTube as you would with a local encoder. Start the free first day with no card.

Decide what must be solved before launch
Use OBS if you want direct local control and can keep the computer and connection running. Choose cloud playout if you want uploaded files to play without keeping your computer online, while accepting a vendor and its service terms. In either case, do not start until the specific recordings and compositions are cleared for the intended live broadcast and archive, and you have a plan to respond to YouTube interruptions.
