Spoilers for Novigrad Dreaming and a later character encounter. Let Sarah stay if you want to keep the Haunted House secondary quest available. Make her leave if you prefer the later Sarah-and-Johnny outcome and are willing to close that quest. Neither choice is required as the universally correct one.
When you choose Sarah’s outcome
In Novigrad Dreaming, Geralt investigates a house believed to be haunted and discovers Sarah, a godling responsible for the disturbances. The decision comes when he finds her in the house. Walkthroughs from Game8 and GameBanshee describe the two resulting paths.
What each choice changes

Which option should you pick?
- Choose “let her stay” if keeping the Haunted House side quest available matters most to you.
- Choose “make her leave” if you want the later Sarah-and-Johnny connection and accept losing access to that side quest.
There is no required or universally best choice documented by the walkthroughs: it comes down to which content you want to preserve.
