To defeat Zorba in the Regalith Grand Cathedral, remove dangerous Corpsethralls with Hama or another Light attack, then use spare actions to damage Zorba. Keep the party healthy and ready to respond to dark attacks and Bondage Curse paralysis. You do not need one specific party build: use the Archetypes and skills you have unlocked.
What to do when Zorba summons Corpsethralls
Do not let the summons build up unchecked. Their attacks add pressure while Zorba can strengthen them with buffs. Use Hama or another efficient Light attack to take them out. Gamer Guides also reports that Corpsethralls are vulnerable to Fire, but Light is the more consistently recommended answer across the guides.

If your party is stable and an add is not an immediate threat, you do not have to spend every action clearing summons. Use remaining actions to attack Zorba, or choose an area attack if it can efficiently hit both the boss and the adds.
How to damage Zorba
Once the party is safe, turn your attention back to Zorba. Game8 recommends Knight’s Jump Thrust for boss damage and its defense reduction. A Warrior can provide physical or synthesis options, while a Healer can help maintain party health and contribute Light damage.

Guides differ on Zorba’s own affinities: Game8 lists resistance to Fire, Ice, Electric, and Wind, while Neoseeker says Zorba has no weaknesses and does not resist Light. Treat the Corpsethralls’ Light vulnerability as the dependable target, and use the in-game battle feedback to check Zorba’s affinities rather than assuming Hama is a confirmed boss weakness.
Choose a party that fits your unlocked skills
There is no mandatory composition. These are options described by published guides, not a universal ranking; choose based on your available Archetype ranks, synthesis skills, difficulty, and current party condition.

| Option | What it offers | Consideration |
|---|---|---|
| Healer | Party recovery and Hama or other Light damage. | Useful when you need both healing and a way to clear Corpsethralls. |
| Knight with Jump Thrust | A boss-damage option that Game8 says also reduces defense. | Use it when you can spare actions for Zorba rather than the summons. |
| Brawler and Healer | Neoseeker describes using the Brawler-Healer Energy Ray approach to clear Corpsethralls. | Brawler skills cost HP, so pair the approach with healing and monitor party health. |
| Knight, Warrior, and Healer | Neoseeker outlines this as an alternative party setup. | Use the skills and synthesis options you have actually unlocked. |
Manage dark attacks and paralysis
Zorba can use dark attacks, including Mudo or Mudoon, and Bondage Curse can paralyze a party member. Neoseeker notes that paralysis can be cured or waited out. Keep enough HP to withstand incoming add damage, and use recovery or a status remedy when the situation calls for it. The Ludo.guide account also describes Madness Curse buffing the minions, making it especially risky to leave a growing group of summons alone.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Adjust to the fight instead of following a fixed script
- Check the targets. Use in-game analysis or battle feedback to distinguish Zorba’s affinities from those of the Corpsethralls.
- Clear the urgent adds. Use Hama or another efficient Light skill; consider Fire if it suits your available skills.
- Attack Zorba when safe. Use actions left after handling the summons for Jump Thrust or another suitable boss attack.
- Recover as needed. Watch HP and paralysis, and do not leave the party exposed to an uncontrolled group of adds.
Published guides do not establish a universal recommended level, exact damage threshold, or turn-by-turn script that works across difficulty settings and party builds. Let the battle feedback and your party’s condition determine when to clear summons and when to press the attack.
