“Asphalt” can mean several unrelated services, so the deletion steps depend on which one you use. For an Asphaltgold customer account, use the app’s account controls or contact its support team. For Gameloft’s Asphalt 8, game-progress deletion is generally unsupported, with a separate documented procedure for the Apple Arcade edition. If you mean Asphalt Institute, contact its privacy address.
Identify which Asphalt service you mean
| Service | What you can request or delete | Documented route |
|---|---|---|
| Asphaltgold | Customer account | App account controls or [email protected] |
| Asphalt 8 by Gameloft | Game progress; Apple Arcade policy also addresses Player ID and gameplay information | General support says progress deletion is unsupported; Apple Arcade has an iCloud and privacy-request process |
| Asphalt Institute | Personal data | [email protected] |
These are separate services. Choose the matching section below; deleting an app by itself is not established as an account-deletion method.
Delete an Asphaltgold account
- Open the Asphaltgold app and go to Profile > Account & Security > Personal details.
- Open the three-dot menu and use the account-deletion control.
If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] to request deletion. Asphaltgold’s help article, dated 17 April 2023, gives this as the fallback.
Delete Asphalt 8 progress or request data deletion
Most Asphalt 8 editions
Gameloft’s general Asphalt 8 Help Center says, “Unfortunately, game progress deletion is not supported in Asphalt 8.” This addresses game progress; it does not establish that all account or personal-data deletion requests are impossible. The general support statement does not document an alternative progress-deletion procedure.

Asphalt 8 on Apple Arcade
Gameloft’s Apple Arcade-specific privacy policy, effective 3 September 2025, documents two distinct actions:
- Delete game progress: delete the progress from iCloud.
- Request Player ID deletion: contact Gameloft’s Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
That policy also states that Player ID and gameplay information are automatically deleted after 18 months of inactivity. This period and procedure apply to the Apple Arcade policy described here, not necessarily to other Asphalt 8 editions.

The available service guidance does not say that account closure automatically cancels a subscription, removes third-party sign-in data, or erases every retained record. If any of those outcomes matter, ask the relevant service directly when you submit your request.
