A large 1:3 Kratos statue needs furniture and handling practices closer to those used for a heavy architectural object than an ordinary shelf ornament. Prime 1 Studio’s current listing for the Kratos Ultimate Bonus gives an approximate assembled size of 95 cm high, 60 cm wide and 61 cm deep, with an approximate weight of 57.6 kg. Put it on a rigid, level, load-rated platform; keep it out of direct sunlight and heating or cooling drafts; and clean the polystone with a soft brush, carefully controlled air and water only when necessary.
Those figures are a planning baseline, not a guarantee for every shipment. The listing says the piece is handmade and still in development, so final dimensions can change by up to 10% and weight by up to 10 kg. Measure your own edition and assembled weapon configuration before buying a shelf, cabinet or case.

Start with the real footprint and weight
The most expensive display mistake is ordering furniture for the statue shown in a product photograph instead of the version you will actually assemble. A spear, chained blade, shield or alternate head can determine the clearance you need, while the base usually occupies more floor area than the character’s legs suggest.

Measure your assembled configuration
- Choose the display variant first. Decide which head, hands, shield and weapon will remain installed. A different spear or blade can change both the width and the safe reach around the base.
- Measure three dimensions. With the statue standing on its actual base, record the maximum height, width and depth. Measure protrusions at their furthest points rather than measuring the base alone.
- Record cable exits. Note where the LED cable leaves the base and how much slack is needed to connect it without a sharp bend or strain.
- Add working clearance. Leave room to insert your hands, dust the rear and remove a part without scraping a wall, door or case panel. A piece that technically fits but cannot be safely accessed is too large for that enclosure.
- Keep the measurements with the furniture order. Give the supplier the assembled figures, not the approximate product-listing figures, and ask for internal dimensions when buying a cabinet or acrylic case.
Choose a platform that will not flex or tip
Use a rigid, level shelf, cabinet plinth or dedicated statue stand with a published load rating above the measured weight. The support must carry the load continuously, not merely survive a brief test. A bowed shelf can put stress on the base, while an unstable tall cabinet can turn a minor bump into a fall.
Floor plinth
A floor-standing plinth is usually the simplest solution for a 57.6 kg-class statue because it transfers the load directly to the floor. Select a broad, rigid top deeper than the base and long enough for projecting weapons. Check that the plinth does not rock when you press each corner. If it is tall or narrow, anchor it to the wall where appropriate and keep it away from walkways, pets and children.
Cabinet or enclosed console
A cabinet can combine a strong plinth with dust and UV protection, but its shelves, doors and hinges must be rated for the load and sized for the complete assembly. Confirm that the supporting shelf is not a thin adjustable board intended for lightweight objects. Check door clearance with the weapon installed and make sure the cabinet can route the LED cable without pinching it.

Wall mounting saves floor space but adds several failure points: the wall structure, anchors, mounting hardware and the furniture itself. Use a system whose published capacity exceeds the statue’s measured weight, install it into suitable structural material, and follow the hardware manufacturer’s anchoring instructions. Do not rely on a decorative floating shelf with no documented load rating. Keep vibration low and avoid a position where people regularly brush past the wall.

Decide whether an open shelf or case fits your room
An enclosure is useful only when it is genuinely large enough. A standard collectible cube may be too short, shallow or narrow for a 95 × 60 × 61 cm-class statue. Measure internal, usable space after accounting for door frames, hinges, shelf lips and cable channels.

Glass and acrylic can also add considerable weight. Move a large case with an empty interior, place it on its final support, and only then install the statue. Never lift the statue by a case panel or use the case frame as a carrying handle.
Control sunlight, heat and display lighting
Keep direct sun off the paint
Polystone-care guidance from Sideshow warns that long-term exposure to the sun’s UV rays will cause paint colors to fade over time. Place the display on an interior wall or in a shaded position away from windows. Curtains and blinds reduce exposure but are not a substitute for moving the statue out of a sunbeam that reaches the paint for part of the day.

Do not position the statue beside a radiator, heater, air-conditioning outlet or other vent that repeatedly blows hot or cold air across it. Rapid changes can stress materials and make dust move through an open display. Choose a location with stable room conditions and enough space for air to circulate around an enclosure.

Use low-heat, indirect illumination
Install low-heat ambient or cabinet lighting aimed at the statue indirectly. Keep the light off painted surfaces when the display is not being viewed. Do not use direct sunlight as the primary illumination, and do not attach a hot lamp to the case roof above the head or weapons.

Assemble the statue without stressing parts
Set up a padded blanket, thick foam sheet or other clean, non-abrasive surface before opening the packing. Work at a height where you can support the body with both hands. Keep small parts in a tray so they cannot roll under furniture.
- Inspect the packing before lifting. Identify the base, body, heads, hands, shields, weapons and any cables. Photograph the arrangement and connector orientation before removing anything.
- Place the base first. Set it on the final level surface and confirm that it does not rock. Do not drag the base across a finished shelf.
- Install the main body. Support the weight close to the connection point and lower it vertically. Avoid twisting the torso to make a stubborn connector fit.
- Add large accessories. Fit shields and long weapons while the statue is still supported. Hold a projecting piece near its connection point so its leverage does not load a small peg or hand.
- Install smaller swappable parts. Add hands and the selected head last, using the orientation shown in the edition’s instructions. Never force a tight joint; stop and inspect for an obstruction or misalignment.
- Connect the LEDs carefully. Route the cable with a gentle bend and enough slack for inspection. Do not pull on the wire to reposition the statue, and do not assume a particular adapter or battery type because the official listing gives the LED power requirement as TBA.
- Check stability from several angles. Confirm that the feet and base sit flat, weapons are not touching the wall or case, and no cable is trapped under the base or a door.
Edition-specific instruction PDFs take priority over general handling advice. If a connector, seam or joint feels unusually tight, stop rather than increasing force.

Anthony Mestas, a product designer quoted in Sideshow’s care guide, identifies dust as a major issue because it attracts oils and other airborne contaminants that can eventually discolor polystone. Regular, gentle cleaning is safer than waiting until a thick layer has bonded to the paint.

Tools to keep nearby
- A soft camera lens cleaning brush for loose dust in sculpted details.
- Compressed air used sparingly and from a safe distance.
- A clean, lint-free microfiber cloth for bonded dust.
- Plain water for lightly dampening the cloth.
- A padded work surface for any part that must be removed.
Cleaning sequence
- Switch off and cool the display. Turn off the statue’s LEDs and any nearby lighting. Wait until hot lamps or strips have cooled before cleaning around them.
- Brush from high areas downward. Use the camera lens brush with light strokes, letting the bristles lift dust instead of grinding it into the paint. Work around facial features, armor texture and weapon grips.
- Use compressed air only as support. A short, controlled burst can move dust from recesses after brushing. Hold the can far enough away that the airflow does not spin a loose part, whip an LED cable or drive grit into a joint.
- Address bonded dust with water only. If a mark remains, barely dampen a lint-free cloth with clean water, test an inconspicuous area, and wipe gently. Do not saturate seams, sockets, decals or LED openings.
- Dry immediately. Follow with a dry section of the cloth and inspect the area before moving to another part.
- Return every tool to a clean container. A brush or cloth that has picked up grit can scratch a painted surface during the next session.
Never use harsh chemical cleaners. Solvents, household sprays, abrasive wipes and scented cleaning products can affect paint, finishes, adhesives or translucent components. If a stain does not lift with water, leave it in place and consult the edition’s instructions or manufacturer support rather than escalating to a stronger chemical.

The listing identifies multiple swappable components, so treat every change of configuration as a small assembly job. Support long blades, spears and shields close to their attachment points. Do not pick up the statue by a weapon, hand, head, chain or cable, even if the part appears firmly seated.
When changing a head or hand, place the removed part on padding and keep magnets, pegs and connector faces free of dust. Photograph the orientation before disassembly so you do not rotate a connector or force a part into the wrong position. If paint begins to lift, a surface turns white, a seam opens or a joint becomes tight, stop immediately and document the condition with photographs.
LED-lit Mimir eyes add an electrical route that must remain free of pinches. Keep the cable away from door edges, shelf lips and weapon tips. Because the official power requirement is listed as TBA, use only the power solution specified for your edition when it is supplied; do not substitute an adapter based on voltage or plug appearance alone.

Inspect the display instead of waiting for a failure
Build a quick inspection into your normal dusting routine. Look at the base, ankles, weapon grips, seams and cable exits from the front and rear. A change is easier to address before the statue is moved or a part breaks.

Plan for moves and long-term storage
Keep the original foam and boxes. The official listing identifies several detachable components and notes that two-box shipping may be possible, so the factory packing is valuable if you relocate the statue, return it for service or change the display configuration. Label each cavity with the part it holds, and photograph the packed arrangement before sealing a box.
For a move, remove projecting weapons, shields and other parts first, then pack them in their intended foam recesses. Support the body and base separately where the packing design allows. Do not leave a long weapon installed if it can act as a lever during transport. Carry boxes with enough people for the weight, keep them upright when the packaging indicates an orientation, and never place unrelated heavy items on top.
Before reinstalling the statue after storage, inspect for shifted foam, loose connectors, scuffed paint and cable damage. Re-measure the assembled configuration if you have changed a head, hand, shield or weapon.
A practical pre-display checklist
- Exact height, width and depth measured with the chosen accessories installed.
- Actual assembled weight checked against a platform rating that exceeds it comfortably.
- Rigid, level support with anti-tip anchoring where the furniture design or height requires it.
- Clearance from windows, direct sun, radiators, air-conditioning outlets and walkways.
- Case internal dimensions verified around every weapon, shield, head and cable exit.
- Ventilation, door swing and LED cable routing checked before installation.
- Padded assembly area prepared, with original foam and boxes retained.
- Soft camera lens brush, controlled compressed air and a lint-free cloth available.
- No chemical cleaner, abrasive wipe or household spray planned for polystone.
- Base, ankles, seams, weapon grips and LED wiring added to the regular inspection routine.
With a measured footprint, an over-capacity support and controlled light, the statue can remain the focal point without being exposed to the stresses that cause most display problems. The safest approach is deliberately conservative: support the full load, handle every detachable part near its connection, and stop at the first sign that a joint, finish or cable is not behaving normally.
