Choose where to download AION 2 on PC
NC America identifies Steam and PURPLE as the global PC platforms. Choose the one available in your region and whose client you prefer. Availability is established for both platforms globally, but the cited announcement does not spell out every regional account or client difference.

The global support requirements recommend an SSD; they do not list one as mandatory. The same 100 GB free-space requirement applies at both specification tiers. NCSOFT Taiwan’s download page, accessed October 7, 2026, separately says initial installation needs approximately 70 GB or more while listing 100 GB as the required space. That regional estimate is not a promise of the complete or lasting install footprint; plan around the global 100 GB requirement instead. See the NCSOFT Taiwan AION 2 download page.
Install AION 2 through Steam
- Open Steam and locate AION 2 in the store.
- Open the game’s listing and select its install control.
- Choose an installation location with at least 100 GB available, then follow Steam’s prompts to download and install the game.
Install AION 2 through PURPLE
NCSOFT Taiwan’s documented flow is specific to its regional site. The global announcement confirms PURPLE as a global PC route, but does not confirm that every region uses this exact sequence.

- Download and install the PURPLE PC app for Windows using the relevant official regional PURPLE page.
- Open PURPLE and select Store.
- Find and select AION 2.
- In the AION 2 lobby, select Install Game and follow the installer prompts.
