To play Blade & Sorcery on Quest 2 without a PC, download Blade & Sorcery: Nomad from the Meta Horizon Store. Use the Store in the headset or the Meta Horizon mobile app, then install the game from the same Meta account that owns it.
Which version should you download?
Choose Blade & Sorcery: Nomad for standalone play on Quest 2. The PCVR game named Blade & Sorcery is a separate build; buying that version for PC does not by itself establish ownership of the Quest version. How to download it on Quest 2
- Connect and check the account. Make sure your Quest 2 is set up and connected to Wi-Fi. Note the Meta account signed in to the headset.
- Open the Meta Horizon Store. Use the Store in the headset, or open the Meta Horizon app on a phone paired with the headset. Sign in with the account you use for the game.
- Find the Quest listing. Search for Blade & Sorcery: Nomad and confirm it is the Quest version.
- Purchase or install. If the account has not bought the game, select Purchase and complete checkout. If that account already owns it, select Install.
- Launch the game. Wait for installation to finish, then open it from your headset library.
The store listing showed a price of $29.99 on October 8, 2026. Price and availability can vary by region and change, so check the listing for the current amount and whether the game is available to your account.

Can you download it without a PC or link cable?
Yes. The normal store download happens through the headset or paired mobile app; it does not require a PC, developer mode, sideloading, or a link cable. Meta’s device setup documentation says Quest devices run store apps by default. Its separate developer workflow uses a computer and USB-C data cable to install and debug locally built apps, which is not needed for the retail store version.

Why does the store say “Purchase” if you already bought it?
Check that the Store is signed into the Meta account that made the purchase. The game entitlement is associated with the purchasing account, not automatically preloaded onto every headset. If the correct account still shows Purchase instead of Install, contact Meta support to resolve the account or entitlement issue.
What about mods?
Mods are optional and come after installing the base game. Warpfrog has described an in-game mod manager that distinguishes Nomad mods from PCVR mods; use mods intended for Nomad and check that they match your installed game version. The developer announcement does not establish current compatibility for specific mods: Warpfrog’s mod-manager announcement.
