In Dig It!, money is in-game currency: dig up treasure, sell it, complete quests, and use your earnings to progress through upgrades and new areas. It is not Robux or real-world income.
How to make money in Dig It!
The game’s official Roblox description lays out the core loop: dig for rare treasure to sell, explore for more loot, complete quests, and level up. Selling what you find is the direct way to turn digging into in-game money; quests and exploration are part of the same progression loop.
Dig up treasure and sell it
Start digging, collect treasure, and sell your finds through the in-game selling system. The official listing does not give sale prices, so the value of an item should be checked in your current game rather than assumed from its rarity or from an older guide.
Complete quests
Quests are another activity the publisher identifies as part of progression. A January 22, 2025 Droid Gamers guide describes a food quest involving Piratesburg and food items in Nookville. Treat those locations and steps as dated guidance: confirm the quest and its requirements in the live game, since the guide does not establish that they remain current.

Explore and upgrade
The official description connects exploration with finding more loot and says upgrades and new areas are part of progression. As you earn money, consider whether an available upgrade or area helps you continue digging and finding treasure. The sources do not provide comparative prices or returns, so they do not establish a single best upgrade or location.
Other rewards and shovel advice
The January 2025 Droid Gamers guide also mentions daily login rewards, Benson’s Gifts, and using a shovel with a Lucky stat to potentially improve encounters with valuable rare items. These are third-party suggestions, not verified current best practices. Check whether the rewards, feature names, and shovel stats are available in your build before relying on them.

Does Dig It money mean Robux or real cash?
No. Money earned by selling treasure in Dig It! is in-game currency. Roblox’s DevEx program is a separate creator monetization path for eligible Earned Robux, not a way for players to cash out Dig It earnings. Roblox’s DevEx eligibility guidance says purchased Robux, Premium grants, and trading or resale of in-experience items do not qualify as Earned Robux. The Creator Hub lists a 30,000 Earned Robux minimum for submitting a DevEx request; that is a creator-program threshold, not a Dig It earning target, and terms can change.
