To enable Auto Fire in Fortnite mobile, open Settings > Touch and Motion > Fire Modes, choose Auto Fire, then tap Apply. This is the mobile touch-control setting; it is not the separate controller option in Fortnite Creative.

Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Open Settings, then choose Touch and Motion.

Tap Fire Modes, select Auto Fire, and tap Apply to save the change.
These are the steps in Epic Games Player Support’s mobile fire-mode instructions. The support article was available in Ukrainian localization when reviewed; if your game uses different labels, look for the equivalent Touch and Motion and Fire Modes entries. The reviewed instructions do not establish availability on every platform or in every region.

What Auto Fire does—and which modes you can choose
Epic’s mobile guide describes Auto Fire as firing the selected weapon when you look at a target. The same guide describes two alternatives:

Tap Anywhere: tap anywhere on the screen to fire.

Dedicated Button: hold a dedicated on-screen fire control.

Epic recommended that new mobile players try Auto Fire first in its guide published April 14, 2020. That is a historical recommendation, not a current comparative test of the modes. The guide’s labels or availability may also have changed since publication.
Does Auto Fire work with every weapon?
Epic’s 2020 guide listed assault rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, pistols, and chargeable weapons as Auto Fire examples. It said melee weapons, the pickaxe, sniper rifles and bows, launchers, and throwables required fire or pickaxe buttons. That older list is not a definitive current compatibility chart.

Later, Epic’s v42.00 notes described a specific exception to the old pickaxe limitation: with the pickaxe equipped and Auto Fire enabled, players can automatically swing at enemies in melee range. The available official material does not provide a complete current weapon-by-weapon compatibility list.

Fortnite Creative’s Third Person Controls device includes an option named Auto Fire On Controller. Epic’s developer documentation says it controls whether a player’s weapon automatically fires while the player uses the controller’s right stick. It is a Creative device configuration, not the mobile Touch and Motion fire mode described above.
