For shop codes in F-Zero GX, open Customize > F-Zero Shop and enter the button sequence on that screen; use the D-pad for left and right. The newer AX, Dark Schneider and Gold Parts sequences were reported in October 2026, with the five Gold Parts codes requiring four controllers entering simultaneously. These are community-discovered codes reported by secondary sources, not sequences validated in an official Nintendo announcement.

Enter the sequence while the shop menu is displayed. For directional inputs, use the D-pad rather than an analog stick; the older code listing explicitly specifies the D-pad, and a community guide also recommends it.

For a Gold Parts sequence, have four controllers connected and enter the inputs simultaneously. The available reports do not establish that one player can imitate this with a single controller.

After a successful entry, community players report hearing a jingle. Treat that as an anecdotal sign, not an official diagnostic. Gold Parts reportedly become available to purchase in the shop; entering the code does not itself purchase or equip them.
The game manual describes customization and buying machine parts, but it does not validate the newly reported button sequences. Recent coverage says the new codes work in the original GameCube release and the Switch 2 Nintendo Classics version; this is reported compatibility, not a Nintendo guarantee or independently established support for every revision or emulator. Nintendo Everything’s October 10, 2026 report attributes the discovery to community contributor BTEST4HE and tipster Paul Russell.
New AX, Dark Schneider and Gold Parts codes
In the sequences below, X, Y and Z are the corresponding controller buttons; < means left and > means right. The three AX and Dark Schneider codes are reported as one-controller shop inputs. Each Gold Parts code requires four controllers entering simultaneously.

The sequences and controller requirements were published in the October 2026 roundup; community discussion also describes entering codes on the shop screen. The report’s compatibility and code details are reporting rather than official publisher documentation, while community posts provide anecdotal confirmation of the menu and successful entries.
Older shop codes for course music
A longstanding user-contributed listing gives two additional sequences for unlocking music through Customize > F-Zero Shop. Once unlocked for purchase, select a track in the relevant course family and press Z to activate it. Directions in these sequences mean D-pad inputs. GameFAQs’ code listing is user-contributed, not an official Nintendo guide.

Time Attack record inputs are not shop unlock codes
The same GameFAQs listing describes separate sequences entered from Time Attack > Records on the Ruby, Emerald or Sapphire Cup screens. They display a password and information associated with the former F-Zero online rankings; they are not general shop codes or universal unlocks. The listing says those online rankings are no longer running.
What codes unlock—and what they do not
The new inputs concern particular AX content, Dark Schneider and five Gold Parts sets. They are not described as an all-items code, and the Gold Parts still need to be purchased after they become available. Regular progression remains another route: the established listing documents cups and Story Mode chapters unlocking machines, parts and other features. Its progression notes do not make the newly reported inputs an automatic replacement for game progression.

Check that you are on Customize > F-Zero Shop; the ranking-password inputs belong on a Time Attack records screen instead.

For any Gold Parts code, verify that four controllers are connected and their inputs are coordinated simultaneously.

Listen for the reported confirmation jingle, while remembering that this cue comes from player reports rather than an official diagnostic rule.
Community directions and success reports can help identify the right screen, but they are anecdotal; they do not establish behavior across every regional revision or emulator. The community guide and discussion are useful for practical context, not controlled compatibility testing.
