If the cabin door is jammed in The Outer Worlds 2, use the Brawny trait or Engineering 1 at the door. If you have neither, enter the room immediately to its right, open the floor hatch and crawl through the vent into the cabin. The Command Credentials are inside.
Open the jammed cabin door
- Face the jammed cabin door.
- If your character has the Brawny trait or Engineering 1, choose that option at the door to get inside.
These are the two direct entry options listed in the GamesRadar cabin guide.
Use the vent if you lack both options
- Go into the room immediately to the right of the cabin door.
- Find and open the floor hatch.
- Crawl through the vent to reach the cabin.
The AEL Games guide also describes the same broad alternatives.
Retrieve the Command Credentials
Once inside, retrieve the Command Credentials to progress through this early-game sequence. The available guides describe this route, but do not establish whether later patches have changed the interaction or whether the cabin remains freely accessible afterward.
