To change FIFA 19’s language, start the game and look for a language prompt, then check the game’s settings for a language option. The exact steps and available languages depend on your platform and edition, so there is no confirmed menu path that applies to every copy.
Change the language in FIFA 19
- Identify your copy. Note whether you play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, or Xbox 360, and whether your copy is digital or disc. FIFA 19 launched on all six platforms, but its language behavior is not documented identically for each one. EA’s 2018 launch announcement lists the platforms.
- Check for a language prompt. When starting or installing the game, look for a prompt to choose a language. EA says some games offer language selection during installation.
- Check FIFA 19’s settings. If there was no prompt, open the game’s settings and look for a language option. EA’s general guidance describes this as another possible approach, but does not specify FIFA 19’s exact menu labels or path. EA Help’s language guidance notes that each game’s settings differ.
If your preferred language is missing
Check the edition and region
Review the game’s product listing or edition details for supported languages, and compare them with the region where you bought the disc or digital copy. EA says games may not be available in every language, and some games have versions made for specific languages. A historical EA community-manager response also advised checking the regional store listing because language options can depend on location; treat that as context, not a complete or current FIFA 19 language list. Contact EA if you bought a language-specific version
If the listing or edition details indicate that your copy is a language-specific version and it is not the one you intended to buy, contact EA Help for support. The official guidance does not establish that changing your console’s system language will unlock a language missing from FIFA 19.
