The loop starts on January 23. Game8 reports a route of eight entries through the door behind the nurse’s station and four through the door to its right, but another walkthrough describes the door effects and counts differently. Follow the calendar, not a memorized count.
Start the Dayton Hospital task
- Go to the warehouse near Dayton Hospital in Dayton Wetlands and speak with Paul. He asks you to find emergency medicine and Kayla. Game8’s walkthrough and the community-maintained Once Human Wiki describe this quest start.
- Search the hospital’s second floor for Kayla and the medicine in a stock room. Read Kayla’s note before taking the medicine: Game8 warns that taking it advances the quest and triggers the phase shift.
- After the shift, follow the corridor to its dead end, turn around, and follow the wheelchair into the ward.
Set the calendar to September 15
The ward’s calendar begins at January 23. An announcement identifies September 15 as the discharge date, so that is the date you need to reach. The Escapist walkthrough also identifies September 15 as the target.
Move through the ward doors and check the calendar after each transition. Game8’s reported route from January 23 is eight entries through the door behind the nurse’s station, then four through the door to its right. However, The Escapist describes the front door as changing the day and the right-hand door as changing the month, with a different count description. The guides do not establish a single count sequence that can be confidently reconciled across their door labels.
Use the visible date as your control: stop when the calendar reads September 15. If a door transition does not move the date toward that target, check the calendar again and choose the other door rather than continuing on autopilot.

Call for discharge and leave the loop
- When the calendar shows September 15, interact with the phone at the counter. The phone opens the exit, according to Game8 and the community wiki.
- Go through the opened exit door. Game8 places it to the left of the nurse’s station.
- Secure Space Turner, then interact with the wheelchair to leave the event space and return to the original timeline.
- Return to Paul to finish the task.
Game8 lists the task rewards as 100 Energy Link, 390 EXP, 3 Stellar Planula, and 1 Eclipse Cortex; these are guide-reported in-game rewards, not independently verified for every game version.

The two 2024 walkthroughs agree on the January 23 starting date, September 15 discharge target, and the phone-based exit, but their descriptions of door effects and counts differ. Game8 gives the eight-and-four route; The Escapist describes day and month changes differently. Because neither account establishes how those differing descriptions map onto every player’s view, the calendar is the safer confirmation than a fixed sequence.
