It describes monthly or annual seat-based licenses, so the dependable way to estimate the cost is to identify your required seats and features, then request a quote. The published summaries say destinations are unlimited; they do not support multiplying an assumed fee by the number of YouTube channels.
What Switchboard Live’s public pricing tells you
Switchboard’s pricing page says, “We offer monthly or annual seat based licenses.” It lists SMB, Public Sector, and Enterprise feature bundles, but no dollar amounts. As a result, the public information can help you identify a likely plan fit, not calculate a subscription total. Ask Switchboard for a current quote and confirmation of the account-specific terms.
The plan summaries list unlimited multistreaming destinations, and Switchboard’s destination help page says custom RTMP destinations have no extra fees or upcharges. YouTube is listed as a native destination. Based on these public sources, destination count is not the stated pricing unit; still, include the exact channels and workflow in your quote request and ask Switchboard to confirm coverage.
Build a quote request around your actual setup
- Count people who need access. The pricing summaries list two team members for SMB, three for Public Sector, and three or more for Enterprise. Ask for the precise seat rules and price for your account.
- Count simultaneous inputs and workflows. The displayed tiers list one RTMP input for SMB, one RTMP or SRT input for Public Sector, and three RTMP or SRT inputs for Enterprise. Switchboard’s FAQ says multiple encoder workflows can run simultaneously, each with its own server URL and stream key. Confirm the applicable plan limit for your intended concurrent setup.
- List every destination and channel. State how many YouTube channels you want to reach, whether each stream goes to multiple channels at once, and how you plan to group destinations. Ask the company to verify that the chosen plan supports that arrangement.
- Describe the schedule and duration. Switchboard recommends considering stream count, length, and frequency when choosing a subscription. Specify whether your broadcasts are occasional, scheduled, long-running, or continuous.
- Identify operational requirements. Public Sector lists a 30-day archive. Enterprise lists 30+ day archives, 24/7 streams, phone support, and account hierarchy. Tell Switchboard which of these matter and ask whether they affect the quote.
- Request the complete commercial terms. Ask for monthly and annual options, seat and input limits, taxes, discounts, cancellation or renewal terms, and any account-specific conditions. Public sources do not establish your negotiated price.
Does Switchboard charge per YouTube channel?
The public summaries advertise unlimited destinations, and the destination help article says there are no extra fees or upcharges for custom RTMP destinations. They do not describe a per-YouTube-channel charge. That is not a guarantee about every account or contract: ask Switchboard to confirm that your number of channels and simultaneous streams are included in the quote.

Can you connect multiple YouTube channels?
Switchboard’s YouTube guide says multiple channels accessible through the same Google login can be connected and enabled in a stream group. Each intended channel must have YouTube live streaming enabled before authorization; Switchboard notes activation can take up to 24 hours. Complete that setup before a scheduled broadcast, and verify the channels are enabled in the group you intend to use.
Trial allowance is not a paid-price formula
Switchboard’s trial page describes 99 broadcast minutes for Indie and Pro plans. Switchboard identifies this as a trial allowance, not a published post-trial rate. It cannot be used to extrapolate a monthly subscription cost or the cost of additional channels.

Keep encoder and production costs separate
Switchboard receives a feed from an encoder and forwards it to destinations. Its encoder guidance lists software, hardware, mobile, and cloud options, including OBS, which Switchboard lists as free software. A paid hardware encoder, camera, microphone, capture card, or network accessory is not established as a mandatory Switchboard subscription charge. Include equipment in a separate production budget only if your existing setup does not meet your needs.
