To expand your regular Stash in ARC Raiders, reach Level 25 and visit Ermal, the Nomadic Envoy, in Speranza. The offer uses a barter of high-value ARC materials or stockpiled rare weapons—not the Expedition Vault’s Coin price—and the extra regular Stash space resets when you depart on an Expedition. Embark’s published notes do not specify the regular expansion’s exact ingredients, slot gain, or maximum capacity, so check Ermal’s live offer before committing resources.
Where to expand your Stash
Go to Ermal, the Nomadic Envoy trader, in Speranza. Embark identifies him as the route for expanding Stash space and offloading gear. The official guidance does not provide a precise menu path or button sequence, so find Ermal in the hub and review his current offer. Embark’s Nomadic Envoy announcement describes the trader and his role.
What the regular Stash expansion costs
You must be Level 25 to barter with Ermal for expanded Stash space. Embark describes the payment as high-value ARC materials and stockpiled rare weapons; its published notes do not give a fixed Coin price or a complete current ingredient list. Treat Ermal’s in-game offer as the source of the exact barter requirements for your current build.
The official information also does not state how many regular Stash slots an expansion adds or the maximum capacity. Avoid relying on unsourced slot figures: neither number is established in Embark’s published guidance.

What happens to the extra space when you depart on an Expedition
The regular Stash expansion is temporary across Expedition departures: the expanded space resets when you leave on an Expedition. If you are planning a departure, factor that reset into whether it is worth bartering for additional room beforehand. Embark confirms the reset in its Patch Notes 1.29.0.
Regular Stash expansion vs. Expedition Vault
The Expedition Vault is a separate Ermal offer, not another name for regular Stash space. It lets you store up to five prized items for retrieval after an Expedition. Unlike the regular expansion’s barter, the Vault uses Coins. Embark’s Patch Notes 1.30.0, last updated May 26, 2026, set each of its five tiers to 200,000 Coins.
Rank #2
| Expedition Vault tier | Price in Patch Notes 1.30.0 |
|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 200,000 Coins |
| Tier 2 | 200,000 Coins |
| Tier 3 | 200,000 Coins |
| Tier 4 | 200,000 Coins |
| Tier 5 | 200,000 Coins |
| All five tiers | 1,000,000 Coins total |
These are Vault prices, not the cost of the regular Stash expansion. The published notes describe the Vault as holding up to five items; they do not state how many regular Stash slots the barter adds.

Which option fits your plans?
- Need more room before an Expedition? The regular expansion adds space, but that expansion resets when you depart. Weigh the temporary capacity against the materials or rare weapons Ermal requests.
- Want particular items available after an Expedition? Consider the Expedition Vault instead. It is designed to preserve selected items for post-Expedition retrieval, with its own Coin-priced tiers.
- Unsure what Ermal currently requires? Check the live offer in Speranza. Trader offers and game mechanics can change with patches or rotations.
