To feed the dog in Sneaky Sasquatch, interact with it, choose Pet and Feed, then select an acceptable food from your inventory. Petting the dog in the same interface also builds affection. For automatic hunger replenishment, stock the Dog Bowl sold at the Pet Shop.
Feed the dog by hand
- Interact with the dog and open Pet and Feed.
- Select a food item from your inventory and give it to the dog. If it refuses the item, try another food.
- Pet the dog’s head or body in the interface to increase affection as well.
Dog Treats and foods the dog likes appear to build affection more effectively than ordinary Dog Food. Use the Pet Analyzer at the Pet Shop to check the dog’s preferences. Community wiki guidance says repeating one food type in a day gives diminishing relationship progress, so rotating liked foods may help; this is not an independently tested result. The community wiki’s dog guide lists food preferences and feeding details.
Use a Dog Bowl for automatic feeding
Buy the in-game Dog Bowl at the Pet Shop and leave food the dog accepts in it. The dog eats from the bowl when Sasquatch wakes, replenishing hunger without requiring you to feed it by hand. Bowl feeding seems to build less affection than hand feeding, according to the community wiki, so use hand feeding when relationship progress is the priority. The Pet Shop guide describes the bowl and Pet Analyzer.
If the dog will not eat
- Make sure you opened Pet and Feed and selected food from your inventory.
- Try a different item: the dog refuses some foods, and the Pet Analyzer can help identify likes and dislikes.
- If you are using an Apple TV or another input method, the exact selection gesture may differ. The general method is still to open the dog’s feeding interface and select or move an acceptable food item to it; platform-specific controls are not established by the available documentation.
Ordinary Dog Food is not described as triggering a special like, dislike, or upset-stomach response, but it does not appear to provide the same affection boost as treats or liked foods. These mechanics are documented by community-maintained wiki pages rather than official support material and may change with game updates.
