In Roblox Tower Defense Simulator (TDS), Grave Digger is the Casual-mode final boss on wave 25. Beat it with steady damage, separate defenses for the enemies it summons, and tower placement that limits disruption from its attacks. Don’t build your plan around slowing or stunning the boss: the community-maintained Grave Digger wiki page lists it as immune to stun, freeze, and several slowdown or status effects.
What to expect from Grave Digger
The community-maintained Grave Digger page lists these stats for the Casual encounter. They are update-sensitive, not developer-confirmed figures.
| Detail | Casual mode |
|---|---|
| Encounter | Final boss, wave 25 |
| Base health | 40,000 |
| Speed | 1.15, described as “Very Slow” |
The same page lists 200,000 base health in Challenge Trials, so don’t apply the Casual health figure to every mode. It records changes in version 2.1.7, dated July 2, 2026, including the Casual wave, health, speed, and Stomp stun duration. Check the current in-game encounter if an update has changed the figures.
Attacks that affect your defense
- Summon: Brings multiple enemies onto the path. The page lists an eight-second duration.
- Stomp: Stuns nearby towers for four seconds and damages units.
- Shovel: Throws dirt that stuns towers for three seconds and damages units when it lands.
Those stun durations and mechanics come from the community wiki and may change with game updates. Since the boss is listed as stun- and freeze-immune, control effects are not a substitute for damage.

Build for both the boss and its summoned enemies
Use dependable damage against Grave Digger, but don’t let every tower focus on the boss while summoned enemies pass through. The wiki suggests Militant, Hunter, Crook Boss, and Cowboy as early-game choices. For higher damage, it names Minigunner, Ranger, and Accelerator; expensive options can be difficult to afford in Casual mode.
Pair boss damage with coverage for groups. If a tower such as Accelerator is focused on Grave Digger, other defenses may need to handle the adds. The page names Minigunner or Turret for supporting damage, and Rocketeer, Demoman, or Mortar as group-damage options. Treat these as possible roles, not a guaranteed loadout.
Protect towers from Stomp and Shovel
Keep vulnerable towers far enough from the path to reduce their exposure to the nearby-tower attacks. The wiki also identifies Ranger, Brawler, and Gatling Gun as stun-immune options, and suggests Medic to provide stun immunity to towers that lack it. Those choices can help preserve uptime, but they do not replace coverage for the boss or summoned enemies.

Choose a loadout that fits your run
There is no single tested build or map-specific placement in the available guidance. Before committing to a lineup, check that it covers three jobs:
- Boss damage: Include towers that can keep dealing damage without relying on slowing or stunning Grave Digger.
- Add control: Reserve enough damage or area coverage for the enemies the boss summons.
- Attack resilience: Place vulnerable towers away from the path, or use stun-resistant options and support where practical.
As optional in-game tools, the page mentions airdropped Riot Guards and Bear Traps from Trapper as instant-damage approaches. It also says a Nuke can reduce the Casual boss to 10,000 health, but cautions that the consumable may be better saved for tougher threats. Neither is a required step.
