All 10 Ghosts Exposed locations and in-game times
These are in-game clock times, not your local time. Each appearance window lasts one in-game hour—about two real-world minutes, according to the current GTA Boss guide—so reach the area before the slot begins. Ghosts 1–9 each have two nearby possible spawn positions; check both if the first is empty. The final ghost has one listed position.

The locations and specific spawn descriptions in this table follow GTA Boss’s October 1, 2026 guide. Rockstar confirms that the seasonal locations were updated but does not list individual ghost positions in the cited notes. A second current guide, GTA BOOM’s 2026 guide, describes some positions differently. If a ghost is not at the first spot, check the alternate position rather than assuming the time slot or event is wrong.
How to photograph and register a ghost
- Arrive before the window. The guide estimates that an in-game hour lasts about two real-world minutes, so travel time matters.
- Check both nearby positions for ghosts 1–9. Their two possible spots are close to each other, but the ghost may not appear at the first one you inspect.
- Open the phone camera (Snapmatic), frame the ghost, and take a photo. The ghost must be visible in the image.
- Submit the picture with the Ghosts Exposed option. Saving a picture to the gallery alone does not complete the submission.
- Confirm the collectible count advanced. Check the on-screen counter or the Collectibles section of the Interaction Menu.
- Start the midnight search for ghost 10 only after the count shows nine. The final ghost is gated behind the first nine photos.
The current GTA Boss guide also advises keeping some distance because getting too close can make a ghost vanish. For elevated locations such as the overpass and church tower, arrange access before the appearance window starts. These are guide-reported tips, not mechanics stated in Rockstar’s cited event notes.

Route and timing strategy
The listed stops move between Blaine County and Los Santos, and each window is short. GTA BOOM recommends splitting the hunt into regional runs instead of driving back and forth across the map for every consecutive slot. You do not have to capture ghosts 1–9 in numerical order; each can be photographed during its own window.
GTA Boss suggests one possible schedule: collect ghosts 5–9 between 01:00 and 06:00, then return the following evening for ghosts 1–4 and photograph ghost 10 at midnight once the first nine are registered. This is an optimization, not a requirement. Choose a route that lets you reach each location before its window and account for the time needed to get into position.

Rewards for completing Ghosts Exposed
GTA Boss reports a base reward of GTA$20,000 and 500 RP per ghost, a GTA$50,000 final-completion bonus, and the Ghosts Exposed Jacket for completing all ten. At those reported base rates, the full set pays GTA$250,000 and 5,000 RP. Rockstar confirms that rewards were updated but does not specify these amounts or the jacket name in the cited notes, so treat the payout details as guide-reported.
GTA BOOM reported 2X GTA$ during the weekly phase ending October 7, 2026. That was a temporary weekly bonus, not a standing payout; check the active event week rather than assuming the multiplier still applies.
