Collect the four Purple Talismans in Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong before defeating the chapter’s final boss. The first three altars are in Webbed Hollow; the fourth is behind the Court of Illumination Shrine in the Temple of the Yellow Flowers. Interacting with the last talisman triggers the Supreme Inspector encounter, and a chest behind the altar holds the quest reward.

First altar: Verdure Bridge in Webbed Hollow
Head to the Verdure Bridge area, beyond the Elder Amourworm. Continue past the Scorpion Prince and climb the stairs. Cross the small bridge on the left to reach the altar. Approach it, allow the scene to play, then interact with the talisman to collect it.

Second altar: Cliff of Oblivion
Travel to the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine. Face the shrine and turn your attention to the right, toward the nearby shallow water or small pond. The altar is close by; interact with it to take the second talisman.
Third altar: Relief of the Fallen Loong route
Start at the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine and follow the path behind it into the web-covered cave. At the fork, choose the uphill path on the left, which leads toward a ruined stone wall. Look for the altar nearby.

Fourth altar: Court of Illumination
Collect the other three talismans before going for this one. From the Court of Illumination Shrine in the Temple of the Yellow Flowers, take the path and stairs behind the shrine. The fourth altar is at the top. Interact with its talisman to trigger the next encounter.
What happens after the fourth talisman
The Supreme Inspector appears after you interact with the final talisman. This encounter advances when you survive and deal enough damage to trigger a cutscene; it is not necessary to treat it as a conventional full boss defeat. The sources describing the encounter do not establish a universal damage threshold, so focus on staying alive and continuing to attack until the scene begins.

After the encounter, check the chest behind the final altar. It contains a Celestial Nonary Pill, which permanently increases maximum stamina.

The Purple Talisman quest can be missed if you defeat Chapter 4’s final boss before completing it. Finish the four altar interactions and the resulting encounter before leaving the chapter. Moving on to Chapter 5 may mean waiting until New Game+ to regain access.
