Travel to the location shown on your map and enter it to discover the cove. Discovery is required before you can fast-travel there.
Bethesda Support’s Dunbarrow Cove instructions confirm the Remastered-specific discovery and fast-travel steps. They do not describe the cave route.

How to reach the entrance near Anvil
GameBanshee’s general Oblivion walkthrough places the entrance at Smuggler’s Cave near Anvil. Enter the cave and continue through it to reach Dunbarrow Cove. This route comes from a general-game walkthrough rather than a Remastered-specific route guide.
How to claim the cove
Inside, defeat the Red Sabre Skeletons, including their captain, Cap’n Dugal, according to the GameBanshee walkthrough. Once the area is cleared, the walkthrough directs you to Dahlia Rackham aboard the Sea Tub Clarabella to purchase services and improvements for the cove.

GameBanshee says purchasing every upgrade enables weekly crew plunder missions, with returns of up to 2,000 gold per week. The community-maintained Elder Scrolls Fandom quest page also reports a 2,000-gold maximum, describing the return as 100 gold per level. These are guide-reported figures for the original quest context; the sources do not establish that the payout formula or ceiling is identical in Remastered.
