Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1 has three boss encounters: Beach Brutus, Hush, and Human Bill. Their reported spawn areas vary, so none of the locations below guarantees a boss will be there in every match. Each boss drops a distinct weapon and medallion ability, but carrying a medallion also reveals your position.
This is a guide to the historical Chapter 7, Season 1 roster—not current live-season instructions. Boss spawns, rewards, and mechanics can change between seasons.

Where to look for each Chapter 7, Season 1 boss
Season 1 guides describe these as variable-spawn encounters rather than bosses tied to one fixed location. Treat the named places as reported possibilities, not a guaranteed route. Some guides also identify shared hotspots, including areas near Wonkeeland, but their lists differ in scope. [Prima Games; AllThings. How]
Beach Brutus
Reported areas include Painted Palms, Classified Canyon, near Wonkeeland, and Ripped Tides. Some guides say northern areas are more common, but that does not make any one location certain. [Prima Games; AllThings. How]

How to approach each fight
Choose your distance based on the boss’s weapon. The recommendations below reflect dated Season 1 guides, not verified instructions for later builds.
Beach Brutus: avoid his shotgun range
Brutus uses Twin Hammer Shotguns, so fighting from farther away can reduce exposure to his close-range weapon. Keep cover between you and him where possible. [Prima Games; Destructoid]

Hush: close the distance under cover
Hush carries a Deadeye Assault Rifle. Prima Games advises closing distance because the weapon is more effective at range; use cover as you approach rather than crossing open ground. [Prima Games]
Human Bill: keep your distance
Human Bill uses an Arc-Lightning Gun. Destructoid and Beebom recommend a longer-range approach, making distance and cover sensible priorities in this encounter. [Destructoid; Beebom]

Account for the helpers
Beebom’s Season 1 guide recommends taking out the two henchmen before focusing on the boss. It also reports that a skull icon on the mini-map marks a boss at one of the listed locations. These are dated guide descriptions of the encounter and interface, so the icon and enemy behavior may not apply to a later season or build. [Beebom]
Boss rewards and medallion abilities
The guides report that defeating a boss drops its mythic weapon and medallion or kit. Prima Games also lists a Chug Jug for each encounter; treat that loot detail as version-sensitive. [Prima Games; AllThings. How]

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What carrying a medallion costs
The medallion’s ability comes with a major drawback: the guides say that carrying it reveals your position on the map. They also report that it cannot be dropped or swapped once equipped, and that it leaves only when you are knocked or eliminated. Weigh that visibility against the ability before picking it up, especially if staying hidden matters more than its benefit. [AllThings. How; Destructoid; Beebom]
Reported boss encounter stats
AllThings. How reports that bosses had 125 health, 125 shield, infinite stamina, and summoned two henchmen every 90 seconds. Destructoid independently reports 125 health, 125 shield, and two helpers every 90 seconds. These are dated, guide-reported Season 1 gameplay values—not guarantees for another season or current game build. [AllThings. How; Destructoid]
Season 1 scope
Boss names and locations are not stable across seasons. A later Chapter 7, Season 2 guide describes a changed map and different boss roster, so do not use this list as a current-season map. [PC Gamer]
