Larvitar is reported on a rooftop in Bleu Sector 7, not in a Wild Zone. To reach it, complete Side Mission 045, “On Maintenance Duty,” to activate the yellow speed ramp, then check the grass patch on the northern rooftop. Larvitar evolves into Pupitar at level 30; Pupitar evolves into Tyranitar at level 55.
Where to find Larvitar
The reported encounter is on a rooftop in Bleu Sector 7, in southern Lumiose City. PowerPyx’s Larvitar location guide, dated October 14, 2025, says to look in the grass patch on the northern roof. The official Pokémon gameplay pages reviewed do not give Larvitar-specific coordinates, so treat this rooftop route as the guide’s reported location rather than an official encounter listing.
How to reach the rooftop
- Find the worker for Side Mission 045, “On Maintenance Duty.”
- Give the worker a drink, such as water or soda, to complete the mission, according to PowerPyx.
- Use the yellow speed ramp the mission activates to reach the rooftops in Bleu Sector 7.
- Check the grass patch on the northern rooftop for Larvitar.
If Larvitar is not there
PowerPyx recommends fast-traveling away and returning to refresh the area, then checking the rooftop again. The guide also suggests making a manual save before engaging and reloading if a catch attempt fails; this is a guide tip, not a guaranteed game mechanic.
Tips for catching Larvitar
The official Pokémon gameplay guide offers general capture advice: some wild Pokémon flee when they spot you, so hiding or approaching from behind can help you avoid notice. Battling to lower a Pokémon’s HP can also make it easier to catch. These are general tips, not Larvitar-specific spawn or catch-rate information.
