If you’re a parent, you can also see a linked child’s recently played experiences, set a maturity limit, block a specific game, or report an experience that appears to break Roblox’s rules.
Check a game’s content before joining
Open the experience’s details page and look for its content maturity label and descriptors. Roblox says these labels are intended to help users make informed decisions about the content they interact with; they are a screening aid, not a guarantee that every scene or interaction will suit your standards. Read the experience description and other public details too.
Roblox uses four maturity categories. The descriptors indicate content that may appear, not necessarily content present throughout the experience.
- Minimal: May include occasional mild violence, light unrealistic blood, or occasional mild fear.
- Mild: May include repeated mild violence, heavy unrealistic blood, mild crude humor, or repeated mild fear.
- Moderate: May include moderate violence, light realistic blood, moderate crude humor, unplayable gambling content, or moderate fear.
- Restricted: May include strong violence, heavy realistic blood, moderate crude humor, romantic themes, unplayable gambling content, alcohol, strong language, or moderate fear. Restricted experiences are for users 18 or older who are age-checked; availability is also subject to account and regional settings.

See what games a child has played
For a linked child account, open Settings → Parental Controls, select the child, then go to Screen time → Manage → Top experiences. Roblox says this view lists the child’s top 20 experiences from the last week, with each experience’s maturity level and play time. Experiences that have been removed from Roblox won’t appear.

Limit access to unsuitable experiences
Set a general maturity limit
On a linked child account, go to Settings → Parental Controls → select the child → Settings you Manage → Content restrictions → Content maturity. This sets a ceiling for the maturity levels the child can join, rather than blocking only one title. Roblox’s Parental Controls Overview explains the available controls.
Block one specific game
To block an individual experience, open Content restrictions → Blocked games, add the experience by name, and confirm. Use Unblock if you later want to restore access. A block made while the child is already playing takes effect the next time they enter that game.

These controls have different scopes: a maturity limit applies to experiences above the selected level, while a block targets a particular game. A blocked or over-limit experience may still appear in search results or ads; seeing it listed does not mean the child can play it. Roblox describes this behavior in its Content Maturity FAQ.
Account for Roblox Kids and Roblox Select
Roblox describes Roblox Kids as intended for ages 5–8 and Roblox Select for ages 9–12. Roblox Kids defaults to selected Minimal or Mild experiences; Roblox Select can include Moderate experiences. Parents may be able to approve specific games, but the available catalog and controls depend on account type and settings. See Roblox’s guide to what changes as a child or teen gets older.

Report a game that appears to break Roblox’s rules
If the problem is the experience itself, report that experience—not just its creator’s profile. Use the in-game menu’s Report tab and select Experience rather than Person. Identify the specific experience or content involved so Roblox can assess the report. Roblox calls Report Abuse its best way to flag rule-breaking and bad content; read its How to Report Rule Violations instructions.
