On the first floor, find the double bookshelf beside the green rug and break it with your pickaxe to reveal stairs. These directions come from a third-party guide; the available sources do not confirm that Doomstadt or this bunker remains accessible on Fortnite’s October 2026 map.
How to reach the Doomstadt bunker
- Land in or travel to Doomstadt.
- Go to the settlement’s southernmost house and enter it.
- On the first floor, look immediately left of the main entrance for a double bookshelf. A green rug in front of it is the visual clue.
- Break the bookshelf with your pickaxe. The guide says a staircase to the hidden room will be revealed.

What the bunker reportedly contains
The walkthrough describes Avengers chests, ammo crates, weapons, Iron Man-themed decorations, and an interactive computer terminal inside. Those are reported room details, not guaranteed current loot or interactions.
Why these directions may not work on the current map
Epic announced Doomstadt as a new Battle Royale point of interest for Chapter 5 Season 4 on August 16, 2024. The season’s Battle Pass progression ended November 2, 2024. Because the directions are tied to Doomstadt, treat them as Chapter 5 Season 4 guidance rather than verified October 2026 map instructions. If the settlement or house is absent from your current match, the available sources cannot establish an alternative way to reach this bunker.

A separate Iron Man underground location appears in a 2020 GamesRadar+ guide: Tony Stark’s Lake House laboratory, northeast of the Stark Industries circular area and near Steamy Stacks. That guide describes entering through a shutter reached from the road via a bush, or by breaking through the house floor. It is a different location from the Doomstadt bookshelf bunker.
