To unlock Jubilana’s shop, ring the First Shrine bell in Songclave, accept The Wandering Merchant from the Wishwall, then find and rescue her in a hidden room in the western or lower Choral Chambers. Speak to Jubilana after defeating the room’s enemies, then return to Songclave: her shop opens beside the First Shrine.
How to complete The Wandering Merchant wish
- Open Songclave. Ring the bell at the First Shrine and speak with the Caretaker. Songclave needs to be active before the Wishwall sequence can proceed. If the wish is not available yet, try leaving and returning to the Wishwall or completing another Wishwall task; guides report this as a possible refresh, not a guaranteed requirement. The Jubilana quest reference lists discovering Songclave as the prerequisite.
- Accept The Wandering Merchant. Take the wish from Songclave’s Wishwall. This is the quest that leads to Jubilana’s initial rescue and opens her Songclave shop.
- Search the western Choral Chambers. Follow the quest clues into the western or lower part of the Choral Chambers, near the Whiteward side. Guides describe the destination as a small, unmarked hidden room, but differ on the precise landmarks. Focus on searching the western side rather than relying on one exact turn-by-turn route. - Clear the room and speak to Jubilana. Enemies ambush Hornet inside. Defeat them; once the room is safe, Jubilana appears. Speak with her to complete the rescue.
- Return to Songclave. Jubilana sets up her shop beside the First Shrine, described in one walkthrough as being to its right. GamesRadar’s Jubilana guide also points players back to Songclave after the rescue.
Where is Jubilana’s shop, and what does it sell?
After the rescue, look beside the First Shrine in Songclave to find Jubilana’s shop. Guides list wares including Ascendant’s Grip, a Mask Shard, and a Simple Key; GameSpot also lists Spool Extender. Published prices for some items disagree: one guide gives the Simple Key as 750 Rosaries, while GameSpot gives 650. Because the quoted inventories and prices are not consistent across guides, check the in-game shop for the current stock and cost rather than relying on a guide’s price list.
Is Lost Merchant required to unlock the shop?
No. The Wandering Merchant is the rescue wish that opens Jubilana’s initial shop in Songclave. Lost Merchant is a separate, later wish that sends the player to the Memorium and expands her inventory; it is not required for the first shop unlock. The community-maintained Jubilana reference lists her line: “Stop and share some of your rosaries before you go scurrying off again, dear one. I’m sure to have something that’s to your liking!”
